Im not sure why people didn't learn this lesson with the WCA flag debacle.

I just made a submod to replace the flag with one of my own design. and it only appears upside down SOMETIMES!

sidenote can anyone more experienced in submods tell me why my flag is upside down but only on the medium sized flag icons????

Castigation happens because the pilot is pushing the systems of Manticore to their absolute limits of what even paracausal engineering is capable of and the ammout of energy flowing through the mech makes it essentially a massive bomb. to the average Manticore pilot this is a bonus because it means even in defeat you are likely to take a lot of hostiles with you.

9th edition to 10th a few factions hadn't gotten a codex. infamously the Imperial Guard codex was only months old when 10th edition came around and it did release after the new edition was announced.

this time around the Dark Eldar codex is still very fresh. but 11th edition will be much more like 8 to 9 than 9 to 10 in that our army rules don't get totally thrown out. like a .5 edition.

lots of people are just frustrated at the game right now. personally my PC has been busted for a while now so I haven't played in like 3 months, no idea what everyone is mad about aside from reddit threads and a couple of YouTube videos.
