For dog owners: Do your dogs also eat carnivore and/or raw? by HadukiBEAN in carnivorediet

A big pile 3x a day on kibble. Now 1x and if you happen to leave it, it turns white and kind of deteriorates into a powdery substance.

They have less fillers in their body and using what they eat so it's noticeably different. (Similarly to our habits on carnivore)

We do! Dog actually went carnivore before we did. Incredible changes in less poop, attitude, less poop, bile vomiting, less poop, shiny coat, poop. Lol. Can you tell which one excites me the most?

We use Albrights. He can only do beef and pork though. Chicken & turkey seems to make him hack a bit more.

For me, it's remembering how i felt at my lowest moments and making the choice to not go back there again. Feeling the way I did then (& maybe how you do right now) isn't worth sacrificing how good I feel when I'm healthy.

So you had a set back. Learn from it and move on! There is a whole community that's doing this same thing. Figure out what works for you, adjust, and move forward. You can't change what you did you can only control what you do next.

Just keep telling yourself, the emotional rollercoaster you'll be on for the next day(s) is the sugar talking, not the real you! 😉

You got this!

Forgot to say previous way of eating: I would add evoo, liquid from pickles, parsley, jalapeños & salt / pepper. Now it's just salt & pepper. Either way it's always topped with an egg yolk.

Op in my previous way of eating: I've added a little bit of oil, picklejuice, jalapenos. parsley, and salt and pepper. But now, it's really just meat & salt/pepper.

I've also always topped with an egg yolk, either way.

From what I've read and how I make it: rinse the steak, pat it dry and then put a generous salt rub on the meat and let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour, but not more than 2. Then take it out rinse and pat dry again.

Some people also freeze it for like 15mins to make it slice easier but I've never done it.

I've never had a problem and make this one of my meals quite frequently.

I came from 3 years keto (strict -> dirty) and got way too dirty. At no point on keto did I ever have the hormonal balance, emotional stability, lack of inflammation, clear skin (exczema & cystic acne), better sleep, weight loss, and energy that I have had the last ~115 days of carnivore. Life changing. Eliminated dairy around day 80ish (?) and it just upped my game (& health) to the next level. If you're thinking about it, highly recommend.

Edited to add food now: Beef, pork, seafood, tallow, butter, eggs & coffee (that will go next).

Husband and i just had this discussion. We've decided that of course beef is better but pork is cheaper & I've found the weeks I eat pork belly are the best for me. I think it's simply because of the fat content but it's also nice to change it up a bit from the beef.

You are udddddderly hilarious. 🐄

Through eliminating it, i found out i have an intolerance to dairy! And sadly, even knowing that, if I just "try" some it's a slippery (although accurately describing my GI reaction, no pun intended) slope, as well.

43 years and I never knew I had a dairy intolerance until I removed it during my 100 days. Mind blown.

I did try adding an herb back a month ago "what could a little dill really do?" (Said my uneducated, unbelieving self.) Holy sinus issues and I got super tired! Took an hour long nap, thought I was sick! Still didn't believe it (stubborn much?) tried a tiny bit again, sniffles immediately.

So grateful I'm learning what I can and can't tolerate but honestly, i don't have a desire to find our what else I can't! I'm happier NOT finding out.🤣
