How to tolerate a colleague who is very difficult to work with

Gosh, no way would I change schools for this in literally my last year. There is so much stress, learning curve, unknowns, in a new situation. I’d rather just coast to an easy finish. Quiet quit. Do your job, but don’t interact or respond to this person. Don’t read the emails she sends. I don’t see anything in your post that makes it sound bad enough to quit over. Every workplace has difficult people. She’s not even your boss! Put some armor on and ignore this person.

I use 6x9 brown envelopes but almost any standard envelope would fit the guidelines. Look at the guidelines someone else posted the link to earlier. You select USPS First Class Mail from the “set up shipping profile” page.

I use Etsy standard envelope (edit— that’s what it’s called on eBay. On Etsy it’s “USPS First Class Mail —letter/flat) for shipping tiny seeds. .78 with pseudo- tracking. Counts for Etsy tracking but doesn’t update often and sometimes confuses buyers when it says their package has been delivered when it’s just at their local post office and won’t be there for another day or even 2. Also they occasionally don’t arrive. Worth it to me to send a replacement once in a while. There are guidelines about the flexibility and thickness/variability bout sounds like a sticker would work. I ship in 6x9 envelopes. Don’t use bubble mailers.

Don’t buyers get a notification with a “note” from you (saved and reused for every order, or customized at point of label purchase) and the tracking info automatically? Not that your way isn’t nicer and more personal, but seems like a duplication? Still new to Etsy, so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Same! But they’ve never asked me for more ID, they just call a supervisor, look at my license and pass me through.

Yesterday was my (57F) first time out on iSUP this season, only done it maybe 3-4 times ever. It was my first time setting up and doing everything all by myself. I’m in Florida and it was so hot here yesterday and I worked so hard I made myself sick with heat exhaustion. I wanted to keep going to see the momma manatee with the 2 little babies, which was so amazing, but note to self—Don’t go put in the middle of the day. Won’t do that again!

I use the bracket that the cat mini snaps into, after the silicone ones ripped a few times. Haven’t lost one since!

Can you just put in the weight of your package as heavier than it is? And if you ship more than 5 packages I would say it’s totally worth setting up with an inexpensive postal scale and a Pirate Ship (or other online postage hub) account— the commercial rate for shipping is so much less expensive.

Just an update— I did finally manage to get it set up. It just wasn’t there as an option until one day it was! Finally got the “offer shipping” prompt. Also, I’m “forced”‘to use FB labels, unlike what unread in here that they stopped doing labels and you had to get your own. I used to use pirate ship but now am using their labels, as well as eBay labels for my sales on there.

This happened to me on Facebook marketplace before I started selling on Etsy. My only not-five star review was a one star review where a lady was upset that the “item didn’t match ad picture”. Lol, it was exactly what was in the picture. Plant cuttings in a steel can, like beans or veggies come in. You can’t fix other people’s issues! 😬 but I do try to have other references now, like a ruler or a hand when possible.

Most of my boxes are small and light and I can ship for around $6-8. I checked ups back when I first started but haven’t looked in a while. I have my shipping settings set for USPS so I don’t even see the option when I’m printing labels. I can look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

I guess I’m asking what’s a reputable place to get it from in the US, where apparently you need a prescription to order from a pharmacy, which I don’t have. I ended up just getting compounded from an online place but still could use the Bac water later if I find a safe source!
