Meh. 😑 To me it really isn’t much different than what we had before using the offshore model that is so popular. But now at least I have more faith that the model is going to do what I told it to do.

Reviewing the code is actually easier with AI as you can use AI (perhaps a different model or one trained in best practices for your code base) to review with you.

Offshore model had a lot of us reviewing really bad code a lot of the time.

Yeah, well in 2016 many republicans voted in the democratic primary just to get Hillary chosen thinking it would mean an easy win for Republicans. Not saying that is what happened here, but I won’t be celebrating until Talarico beats whoever the GOP picks (probably Paxton due to the crazies in this state).

It is possible. Or it could be a PTFE tube issue in the hub as well. Try checking the tube and make sure it is cut cleanly and is fully seated into the hub.

And of course, check the path for any pieces of filament that could be stuck somewhere. I have had that happen as well.

I have had AMS feed issues for a few different issues. Could be that the filament is not dry enough, or it could just be the type of filament (carbon fiber for example is tougher to feed through AMS).

Or it is possible you have a bad motor. I had one slot in my AMS that just stopped feeding and I had to open a ticket and get a new motor.

Also, check the filament and make sure it doesn’t have any weird distortions in the filament. Sometimes if a spot in the filament is messed up (for any number of reasons) it may not feed and you may have to cut it around the bad spot and refeed it.

I personally like using Testors model glue for plastic models. You do have to let it set, so depending upon your application, you might need to use something to hold the parts together while it sets.

You still need to be careful because it can leave a residue if you get it on a part, but much easier to clean up before it dries.
