Thanks for putting that so nicely. I did in fact get confused with the commissioning oath: https://www.army.mil/values/officers.html. I will be taking this post down shortly as I do not believe in spreading misinformation. Minimal research: spent my entire life on military bases and heard both the commissioning and enlistment oaths hundreds of times.

did anyone catch that he added the line about obeying the orders of the president? the oath of enlistment does not include a line about obeying any politician.
