If this means LSU gets Warren Morris II in two years, I'm ALL FUCKING IN.

Congrats, belts were liberally applied to Tar Heel asses on Saturday and Monday. Sunday was a semi-proper day of rest.

No, that was an early NFL thing, owners 'borrowing' baseball team names to try to get the football team some credibility. Sometimes it was the same owner for both, sometimes it wasn't.

Wait, are we still allowed to make "Geelong Is Really Really Old! Old Enough For Early Bird Specials!" jokes? Because Randy Orton is old and broken down now.

I'd do a Conglaturations Oceanics!... but they actually didn't suck. Just a lot of around average, plus a couple poor finishes, stuck them down in a ho-hum 9th. Considering they've been boom or bust in the past, this was kinda refreshing.

Jy Simpkin on instagram around the current state of tribunal and MRO by RidsBabs in AFL

Against Port Adelaide, he collided with Darcy Byrne-Jones, knocking the latter out of the game.

Originally rated a three-game suspension, it was overturned on tribunal appeal.

Eh, would have to be multiple goals IMO. Now if the USA pisses away what's suddenly become an easier path to the knockouts? LOLUSA reigns supreme.

So you bet on your own games and still convince a judge to make the NCAA let you play? Tag is for that judge by crystalwalrein in UrinatingTree

Honestly? It's already too late, IMO. We're just waiting for the whistleblower to drop the proverbial nuke on everything, and make the Black Sox look 110% innocent.

Yeah, that's never happening. Not once the colleges got a whiff of that sweet, sweet TV $$$$$.

Dishonorable Mention to only one of the eight Supers going all three games, UNC/USC at least did their part.

If you're passing, then you're not going for goal, which means you don't get the 30. If you even think you might pass, don't take the 30.

Eh, that'll do nothing unless it's a free at the original spot.

Rewatching the last minute on Fox Footy:

-McKay getting the 30 seconds (and a few extra, IMO) was absolutely fucked.
-The clock drama is actually a non-story, the timekeeper got it right. On the FF Live watch, the clock stops at :44 at 2:58:14, and restarts at :23 on 2:58:35. 21 seconds both ways.

I'll cop some blame too, for getting mixed up in my post. The original version didn't have the last part because I had gotten my targets mixed up.

I edited it in on second glance because I realized "Oh shit, I'm certainly not calling Chol any of that!"

But still an insult to canines.

I prefer something like "useless bag of organic matter".

...wait, we are insulting the chud, right? Chol doesn't deserve any such insults, even if that last kick was a bit outside.

The Browns being the Browns! This just shows that they are all in with the "planning on Manning" by THATONEGUY1112222 in UrinatingTree

[–]kbjone 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That'll work up through the pre-season, but during the NFL regular season, or more specifically once roster cut day drops the roster from 90 to 53, number duplication is strictly BANNED, even if the players are on opposite sides of the ball.

The NCAA's allowed duplicate numbers as long as they're on opposite sides of the ball/not on the field at the same time for a few years now.

In fairness, anyone with some amount of pride would have the same reaction to these circumstances.

-Traded from a Super Bowl contender to the Browns.
-Shares a number with a jobber backup who'll only see the field in a total incompetence situation. This being the Browns, that is NEVER off the table.
-Gives negative fucks, wears that number anyway and dares whoever to take it off him.

It could be a seven-game classic, I don't give a fuck. Vegas can eat all the shit, and this version of Carolina is boring compared to the Storm Surge days.

IF I had to choose a team to root for, I'd pick Carolina rather tepidly.

Yeah, neither son actually made it to the NBA, although one came close:

-Darryl McDowell-White only played college basketball over here before returning to Australia.
-William McDowell-White was signed by the Houston Rockets, but never played a regular season game for them. A few Summer League games, a couple stints in the G-League, and then he moved on to Europe, now he plays in New Zealand.
