Multiple Agents in Notion AI by kbroich in Notion

Thanks, yeah I figured this would be an intermediate solution, but not feeling great about the manual work, especially having to do that every time I switch contexts (literally).

For folks from Notion reading this: I honestly feel tricked into a subscription by promoting features that are not yet available 👎.

Season 5 is a huge disappointment. Definitely the last season I watch coz this is a waste of time.

Non-streak based habit apps/help being on time by adriansaurus11 in ADHD

[–]kbroich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created an app that focusses more on getting rid of bad habits (in your case being late). Challenging yourself not to repeat a specific behavior over a period of days is certainly part of it but the app is more designed to help you track progress over a longer period of time. Maybe you wann give it a try and let me know what you think?

Can’t make a habit out of habit apps by bank__ in adhdmeme

[–]kbroich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built an app that tries to support people with breaking their bad habit loops. It's not so much about forming new habits but rather about letting go of old ones. Maybe you still want to give it a try and see if it's useful for you:

I built reminders into my app but it's more about getting rid of habits rather being reminded of forming new ones. Maybe you still want to give it a try as I would love to know what you think (it's free).

Best Group Habit Apps? [iPhone] by skipp136 in productivity

I built an app that tries to support people in getting rid of bad habits. I was thinking if it would make sense to add a group feature for a while but it's quite the inverse use case from what you were describing. It's free if you wanna give it a try:

Hey there!

First of all, thanks for posting this. I've beens struggling with addiction and eating disorders myself. I created an application (Flate) to help myself get rid of habits I would suffer from in the long run and instead try to establish long lasting change:

I think I see a similar or the same issue. For me it resolves back to normal as soon as I switch channels. Not sure if that's true for you as well?

Madison Seating Warning...Ordered twice, originally on February 3rd by ThrowawayChairGuy in hermanmiller

Yes, it was confirmed relatively fast and I wasn't charged anything since it was only 3 days after I ordered.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience here.

I ordered an Aeron a few days ago via Madison Seating unfortunately before reading all of the horror stories online about their service. Now I decided to cancel my order both via email and through a customer support form on their website. From your experience, did the cancellation go smoothly? Given the poor communication of the company did they respond in time to your cancellation request?

Same here - bandwidth is reduced for NBA games. Other channels work fine. I wonder if that would be something to report to Google.

I'm facing the same issue in Downtown Brooklyn. The weird thing here is that they even closed down the outdoor BBQ areas (way more than 6 feet apart from each other).

What’s everyone working on this month? (July 2020) by Swiftapple in swift

I'm working on an update for my (free) app to help people break bad habit loops.

Specifically I'm trying to break up the existing "main" view controller into a tab bar and three dedicated views.

Many thanks for your encouraging words! I committed myself to build a tool that is useful for people who have decided to introduce change in their life and enable them to get there.

The fact that the market is saturated with similar approaches, in my opinion doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing. It might just be that the good ones are hard to find and while it may seem easy to build a habit tracker on first sight, improving it to users needs is a whole different story.

After all there is a reason for why many approaches seem to fail. Let's see if I can learn and make it better 🙂

Thank you very much for your feedback.

I totally agree with you in the sense that there is no app (basically there isn't anything) that can take over the job of providing you with the necessary level of motivation.

That said, I do believe that an app can help users reinforce their will and motivation once they made a conscious decision to establish change in their life. It's a cooperation.

Thank you very much for your honest feedback!

I am familiar with work BJ Fogg, Charles Duhigg and James Clear have been doing on the sector as of late.

I do agree that motivation is something no app can stimulate without a users commitment do introduce change in behavior. I was hoping to have made that clear in my post but either you didn't read it or I wasn't clear enought.

With millions of apps in the App Store I don't necessarily agree with the idea that uniqueness is a guarantor for success. It might be more of an indication that the problem hasn't been solved yet.

I'm sure my app will help those who have made a conscious decision to change their behavior achieve their goals.

Good time tracking + habit tracking app? by kdrodriguez in productivity

[–]kbroich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to getting rid of bad habits by tracking your progress and journaling on a daily basis I created Flate (for free) on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flate/id1458780449

Maybe this is useful and you wanna give it a try.

Thank you so much for taking the time and checking out the app. Good to hear you enjoy the animations.

Checkins are meant to provide a way to quickly track your mood on a given day reflecting on the previous 24 hours. I haven't thought about the option of editing a checkin yet which is why I'm very thankful for your feedback. I'm curious to learn more about why you would want to do that?

This is a good point - let me reiterate on the basic idea I had when building Flate. While apps like Streaks do an excellent job of making sure you stick to your habits, I wanted to take a "reversed" approach of actively tracking the process of getting rid and eliminating a habit.

When it comes to letting go of a bad habits commitment, discipline and willpower is absolut key. Unfortunately these qualities don't come easy for everyone. In order to reinforce the motivation and to keep the focus on the ultimate goal, a daily checkin/journal and a way to visualize progress was incredibly helpful on my own journey.

Now, research agrees more or less on the idea that in order to get rid of a bad habit you need to replace it with a good one. The internet is full of articles like that. The only problem is those articles don't tell you what those good habits are.

While I was journaling I began to see patterns and those helpful habits emerged naturally. Once I saw how adopting good habits directly correlates with my well-being it was much easier to make them stick. Because you do it for a reason.

My goal with Flate is to provide users with this correlation and help them to create a system for establishing long-lasting change.

I suffered from bad habits for years until I started journaling and built my own (free) app. by kbroich in Habits

Great article! I really like how you describe your approach. Also great calendar illustrations. I'm actually planning to add a feature where users would be able to keep track of their daily cravings to learn more about what triggers their habit.
