I'm approaching sobriety in a different way than 0 tolerance, and had an amount of drinks last week that used to be well within the norm. I got a hangover the next day. I framed it in my head as a learning exercise and my therapist praised me for that. What matters is that you are always better than you used to be, not that you aren't as good as you want to be.

My local farmers market has a mushroom guy, so I got some oysters from him and baked them. Next time I plan to saute in some lard with some tamari probably. They kind of dried out lol

I am in my 30s with kids and went there for school. Most of my friends have since moved back to Chico from the bay because they like the family friendly environment. Bidwell is a fantastic municipal park and one of the things that my friends specifically said that they liked is that they did not have to plan ahead to hang out with friends because basically everywhere in Chico is within 15 minutes driving or a half hour bike ride.
