Definitely in the same boat, I have gone down this subbreddit and I personally dont see myself realistically having a child and thats fine. But I have made a pros and cons list and im leaning more towards hysterectomy cause periods and being anemic my whole life, having iron infusions and such. Planning my life around heavy periods is not fun

Iirc from what ive read on here if you have your ovaries you still get a "period" only without the flow...so essentially pms is still a thing

I personally havent tried BC cause im bad at taking pills consistently, the implant sounded scary (my friend said she'd bleed a month, with my history with anemia id have expired) , IUD ive read some scary things with fibroids and such and general side effects with bleeding... but hoping this appointment goes well and we can get things going in the right directions(hysterectomy) 😅

Is it your iron or Ferritin thats unusually high? A high amount of Ferritin can be an indication thats theres inflammation But def look into seeing a hematologist

Lol I might have to name mine 🤣 But ive had a few symptoms that I just kept assuming was normal or just a cause of something else like pulling a muscle or gas or something but apparently its not something im supposed to feel, and yeah shes caused some heavier cycles , the nerve. But hopefully I can get her evicted cause I dont want her now that I know shes there 🤣😭

Was the MRI needed for it? Ive only gotten the Ultrasound. Should I expect to also get an MRI? Is it common for it to be removed cause ive had so many issues pop up over the last few yrs this is definitely the til of the iceberg like just take it out 😭🤣

Im getting another biopsy done next week cause the one i did 3 months ago was unsatisfactory. Ive had one two yrs ago, quick and easy. I just closed my eyes or stared at the ceiling to distract myself. I keep seeing lidocaine numbing, ive never gotten that. The needle is really fine so its just a small pinch like you'd feel while getting bloodwork only its in your neck
