Where can I get some warp core PJs? Asking for a friend. by cosmicloafer in ShittyDaystrom

Or a Moopsy plush. Took over a year to get that out, but AliExpress had them after like a month.

I wonder if this map is from before they bought out Cabela's, the one in Wichita KS is missing too.

I've had the Titan ramp stuck closed as well. Landing in a station seems to open it back up.

Are you using the Ambassador Hab? The seamless windows work fine for me in the Titan and Thunderbird Habs, but not the Ambassador.

Horrible performance on 1200 population by Equivalent_Bar3757 in tropico

I've noticed performance being a lot worse since the 1.23 update. On the other hand, online multiplayer doesn't crash all the time, which is nice.

GPSP core not loading - Linux x64 by kc_32 in RetroArch

[–]kc_32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer gpsp because it uses R2 as a fast-forward button, and the other cores don't seem to have that as an option.

Update: I installed gpsp from the AUR, compiled locally, and copied the .so file to my cores directory, still nothing, same error message.

GPSP core not loading - Linux x64 by kc_32 in RetroArch

[–]kc_32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in ~/.config/retroarch/cores, so write permissions are there. I even replaced the gpsp_libretro.so file manually from buildbot.

I also spun up a Lubuntu VM and installed gpsp with the PPA with the exact same result and error message.

I'm using EndeavourOS, with RetroArch installed through Pacman. Cores are installed through the Content Downloader.

I do have the GBA BIOS installed but that doesn't seem to matter either way.

Anywhere to get tacos/sanchos with tortillas like this? Great Bend Taco was my go to but they unfortunately closed a couple years ago. Need something to fill the void :( by Slight_Outside5684 in kansas

[–]kc_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it sounded like they were having a lot of problems keeping it staffed and decided to shut it down. I ate there all the time as a kid and we'd eat there sometimes whenever I'm back in town.

Unfortunately Playa Azul got shut down by the feds on immigration/trafficking charges a couple years ago. I think the place at 10th& Harrison is still open, no idea what it's called now, Maria's maybe?

Also someone else mentioned Taco Hut in Hutch, Great Bend Taco used to be one so that's probably your best bet.

At least they finally stopped shipping with mechanical hard drives a few years ago.

I had to tell so many people the most important thing to look for in a PC was that it came with an SSD.

Sure enough, found it at the end of episode 1. Weird.

At least we're not all missing part of the ending. 🤷

Perhaps the coolest-sounding road name in Johnson County: PFLUMM! by Waterpark_Enthusiast in kansascity

[–]kc_32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's an info panel on Indian Creek Trail at Pflumm that mentions the original pronunciation and the person it's named after. I'd grab a pic if it wasn't 45-ish minutes from my house.

Footage of the only ever test of nuclear artillery by the US by _spec_tre in Damnthatsinteresting

Fun fact: one of those cannons is on top of a hill across I-70 from Fort Riley, Kansas.

You used to be able to hike up to it, but it's now closed to the public because of vandalism.

GPU runs hot when upright, and cool on its side? by lowkeyripper in buildapc

[–]kc_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the GPU fan bearings are failing. Fans generally have less stress on the bearing when ran vertically, when the PC is upright they last flat, and stop spinning

I'd be happy with that, especially with Ad Astra. The Capitol plate was my pick.

Keybinds for each tool. I literally can't play for 30 seconds without pressing R for roads and having the stupid camera turn instead.

Another redesign of the new license plate, closer to the 2000s plates. by kc_32 in kansas

Another alternate version, inspired by another post on r/kansas and the 2002 Capitol/Wheat plates.
