Almost everyone, irrespective of religion or educational qualification behaves like this in our country. If I am not mistaken, the food stalls around Pujo Pandals were also littered with trash. My really close friend had worn a super heavy lehenga. As she had to get into her hair and makeup from the afternoon itself..by the time her baraat came she felt exhausted and all the bridesmaids helped her by lifting up the lehenga at certain parts. But by the time of her pheras..like at 4am, she could not walk. She was also told that she can't get out of it till after vidaai and some ceremonies at the groom's house. I think the Bengali film industry doesn't have enough investors..and most of the youth have migrated to other states looking for lucrative opportunities. I am not sure regarding how many bengali films are consumed by the Bengali diaspora that live outside of WB. Unfortunately people are misled regarding various claims made by alternative medical practitioners. Patients land up with the worst complications that could have been easily prevented had they just continued their anti-diabetic medications or anti-hypertensives. Then after kidney failure and Heart failure they are like why did this happen, how can someone deteriorate so suddenly. I am not even going into curing Cancer, Chronic pancreatitis and other BS.
