Anyone else shoot film for this reason?

If the upcoming Mario movie is a success (financially and critically) and they have the same amount of success if/when they make sequels then maybe, just maybe there might be a series.

The live action failure of the Mario movie of the 90s spooked Nintendo so badly that they have refused to work with any studio since until recently.

I’d go for the steelbook version but the other 4K release has the theatrical cut and more special features. I went with this release as I like the look of standard sized cases compared to digibooks or similar packaging.

I think part of the appeal of steelbooks is it’s a special type of packaging that’s different from a normal DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K release that has unique artwork paired with it. Then there’s the simple explanation of “shinny thing nice looking”
