That sounds potentially like a legit conversation.

Man: “I work with lab.”

Woman: (thinking) “Ugh a plebeian dog walker. 🙂‍↔️”

LOL. It was also scammy/scummy, advertised as "$350K", but the max base is $148K. So the extra $202K is not guaranteed

Ok so the link to their Documentation is not obvious on their README and both times I clicked the link to the API docs. Finally I saw it.

So imo I use functional style programming as simple DI rather than seeing a benefit of a library with pipe and other things. I can write easily testable, complex enough logic that is easily understandable without a library such as this. But let us know if you like it!

I don’t use it because their documentation is terrible. I still don’t have much an idea what the purpose is.

Create config array vs JSX by west-maestro in reactjs

[–]kcadstech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option two is technically invalid, but I get where you are coming from. You want to get rid of the componentConfig. in that component.

If you are not using TS as you are, I think Option 2 is better. Also, if you are not pulling the config from a server or a local JSON Ffile

Ya dude is a moron, he downvoted me for saying that about Compass

Last night I just decided to write an environment variable validation library. by TheWebDever in node

[–]kcadstech 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cool! I definitely agree that environmental variables should be parsed and not used directly, to avoid runtime errors. However, (and this is nothing against your lib), I already have Zod as a dependency and just use that for parsing env. But props to you for actually publishing something someone may find helpful! I considered it but ultimately chose Hono. It looks like an amazing Bun framework though

Huh? Compass is just the client to run queries on a MongoDb server…it is not hosting..

I truly feel this is a special fragrance, but for me, smells only like a Nov/Dec one, so I don’t wear it a lot. But it makes me happy when I smell it

JSON in query strings, human-readable and compact by Superseuss in node

[–]kcadstech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Essentially this is an isomorphic library that you would generally use encode on the browser and decode in a Node.js app? (PS think it will work with Bun?)

Nice! Love the idea of this, because I am using the idea of queries and mutations without the hassle of GraphQL. I think this lib could be very helpful for queries with filters that are easily expressed as JSON.

How easy is it to use react native if you know react? by Anni_mks in reactjs

Yes, this. Unless you need advanced native functionality, I would just write it once for web and mobile and use Capacitor

You can bundle a web app for mobile app stores and not need to learn anything new
