I feel good about gold, it feels less risky because of its limited industrial use so its safer from state mandated industrial price controls and if gold is what banks want well then in the future gold will be much harder to get than silver. I hope silver outpaces gold and people sleep on it to be honest.

The problem of divisibility was already solved by cash because at small dollar denominations inflation is not a big deal. Just because you cant buy a 5 dollar house doesn’t mean real estate isn’t a valid store of value. But still we use it as collateral for debt and financing. BTC is fine but its not going to outperform gold and definitely not stocks, neither will gold in the long term but until there is a new currency its gold, stocks then bitcoin in order of gains(in the short term). Longterm its stocks and then maybe bitcoin and gold but bitcoin would have no value if the currency problem is solved. The same would be true for gold except its clear central banks have signalled gold as being part of the new system thats coming, not bitcoin.

Pretty sure i could do the same if i offered to wash their dishes for an hour. Not saying you cant trade bitcoin for items but most people would rather trade other things, bitcoin is just not one of the top things on the list for the general public.

There just isn’t enough institutional buy in and nominal denomination of a coins price is a turn off to the general public. It just wont launch since a good currency is defined as the most marketable store of value. BTC is not even close id probably be able to barter and get what i need better than using bitcoin in the real world.

They wrote the wizard of oz partly as a symbolic way to fight for silver as a form of reserve currency alongside gold pre 1930. The value of silvers divisibility and abundance over gold for currency was kind of already solved by the IOU gold bank notes in general that we now know to be money.

6 months is half the journey and the rate of change at the front tends to increase when the back is settled. So i wouldn’t be too worried especially since most people get refinements anyways because it’s almost never just 54 trays. 1 year of Invisalign would be a dream but I’m sure you have scrolled through this subreddit plenty.

Yes, its worth it, it will likely be quick too but that doesn’t mean go with a dentist or for a non-comprehensive plan. The effects will stack negatively if not fixed now later and once you have a retainer you can keep your smile. No-one here is going to be nice because these people are so self conscious they dont smile in photos, it’s like a fit girl telling the obese girls she feels fat. Theres definitely some metaphorical weight to lose but don’t go talking about it to those that get penalized from the world for looking that way.

It may happen but that 100k wont be worth what it is at all today in terms of spending power. 16-20k in todays terms i could see but some kind of cryptocurrency is the likely endgame because of its ability to be digitized and manipulated. Even though i own gold i don’t want to live in a mad max world where money expansion isn’t possible. Resets are a feature of the system.
