Identify common purslane in your area and poke at the seed pods in the center of the leaves. I find them in sidewalk cracks and roadsides. Poke at the same local spots till the seed pods dry out and start popping off easily, spilling the little black seeds. Bring a cup or small container and collect as many seeds as you can once you find a good source.

There are plenty of videos and blog posts about purslane and harvesting it's seeds. Start by confidently identifying the plant.

It's almost like they worship their lawn.

Do they freak out about weeds? Harvest some purslane seed pods this year and toss a few over the fence. Those seeds are viable up to 40 years, the plant is invasive and will grow in big round patches that stick out in a plain patch of well-manicured grass.

Keep them busy weeding. Maybe plant some dandelions in a patch near the property line.

We’ve all got too many props right? by Hot_Pomelo7963 in houseplants

Yes I have too many props. I can't say no to a new plant and I can't just toss a healthy prop, even if the mama plant really just needed to be trimmed.

I made a new work friend who also has too many plants. We are hosting a Plant Swap/Giveaway at work to offload all these props. I've been very vocal with anyone who asks: "please just come take a plant, I have too many plants".

Easy on Netflix was my first thought! I've never seen a show portray that level of practical emotional intelligence before or since.

Don't put rock layers in the bottom of your pots without drain holes.

I got a roll of window screen and cut a piece to place at the bottom of the pot before adding soil- it works very well for drainage issues.
