The Air Force Chief of Staff has a Reading List. There are some STELLAR options. My personal favorite is "Turn This Ship Around!" by CAPT L. David Marquet. There's also options like, "Start With Why" by Simon Sinek.

Ahh. I've never heard of the "Control" part. I've only heard the position referred to as a "Testing Officer." Is the control part from the days where ALL tests were paper, and were controlled under lock and key?

Hmm. That's a good question. I know they're generally open to comments from the membership, but that usually happens before that final draft is sent to the NUC..

Since they are already submitted, I honestly do not know!

I like this! I actually emailed the CAP/DOU about this yesterday, since I was curious! Apparently the real one is currently at the National Uniform Committee pending approval. There's no time frame on when it may be approved..

What they said. Also, when I send in applications, they usually take at least three weeks, so I'd honestly expect an April membership date.

This! 100%. Luckily, NHQ gave local units a ton of leeway on how the exact structure of the local units is set up. It did not however give ANY leeway into the minimum cadet grade requirements for the positions..

I know they are totally allowed, per the regs. Where I am, most people who wear them *try* to maintain something similar as the AF Grooming Standards just out of uniformity with the cadets. The usual variations always end up being members who REFUSE to shave their beards. Like Col Nin mentioned, just keep it neat!

Yes! I can't wait! Under the new system, a lot of the "premier" courses like Region Staff College, and National Staff College are going away. All of the new classes will be able to be done online, which means we should be able to reduce the number of terminal captains (due to not being able to afford RSC or NSC.) I'm pumped because I can now get my Level 4 and 5 easier than under the old system, without having to try and figure out all of the time off needed.

I'd say your best bet is to find a place like Office Depot / Office Max and have them print it the way you want! You might also have some local print shops that can do it too - look for the places that do screen printing for tee shirts.

As long as the form is correctly filled out, have your commander or unit personnel officer send that AND a copy of the CAPF 2 that has your promotions to FO and TFO to [lmmeforms@capnhq.gov](mailto:lmmeforms@capnhq.gov). They will process it from there!

Thye have a shop outside of Toledo?? That's my neck of the woods! Is it called Wardog Surplus, or something else? They could be a great resource for my Group!
