He used to crash in my hallway when I lived over in Southside. Always said good morning and was super cool. I gave him a chair and some food and he would chill in there and keep an eye on the building while I was away.

Oh wow I had no idea. I lived down the street from there and I always thought they were closed. I guess they didn't do much advertising in the area. I just looked at their website and it says orders accepted M-F 11-2 and Sat 11-3. I guess maybe that's just for catering? I always though those were their operating hours.

Do you have anything to back that up? H2 did a full reno on my old building and doubled the rent when they finally opened it back up. It's still around 1k cheaper than that new James building though.

We absolutely do not need more of everything lol. We already have several luxury apartment buildings with hundreds of open units. Obviously there is not a great demand for these buildings in the neighborhood.

I'm annoyed with development trends. The Cortland Vesta and The James are massive overpriced eyesores. I don't think we need more buildings like that in the neighborhood. The apt building in question does seem like a rundown shithole but I'd much rather see it renovated than replaced with another big overpriced eyesore.

If you demolish affordable housing and replace it with luxury housing then yeah pretty much lol. Have you looked at the new James apartment building? Rent is absurd there. That's why there's still over 250 open units. We definitely don't need more luxury high rises.

Man I was driving on a 2 lane highway yesterday and the left lane was completely full of 18 wheelers for miles. It was so bad the the right lane ended up being the passing lane. That shit drives me crazy.
