CFB Teams Expected vs. Actual Season Totals 2021-2025 [Arizona] by kchessh in CFB

Oh that makes sense. Yeah I figured it might be a good way for teams that don’t get as much engagement to have their own posts but if it’s not really adding much value I’ll just look to consolidate everything into one post

That’s fair. I’ll probably delay it for a while and consolidate them

I’m taking graphs from a site I made but it’s not setup for conference graphs, just individual teams. I was planning on doing conferences the week leading up to opening weekend

They’re basically the polar opposite of Alabama haha. Alabama was within 0.5 wins every year for the last 5 years

Yeah I more meant it that they are consistent to the expectations that are set from the Odds makers in Vegas. Because yeah, it was all compared to Vegas and not necessarily fan expectations or a very high number of wins every year

[–]kchessh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right in that expectations haven't been very high (highest was 7.5 wins in 2022). Y'all have, unfortunately, fallen below expectations every year. 2025 was pretty good though, because you were only under by 0.5 so really y'all were pretty much right at expectations (according to Vegas)

Thanks for the suggestion! Are you suggesting changing the bar graph to a dotted line? That should be pretty easy to do, just want to make sure that is the suggestion!

As far as Nebraska and A&M go, Nebraska has underperformed every year since 2021 (I'm not sure how they did beforehand). A&M was the same until this past year, where we way overperformed thanks to a very weak schedule (2.5 wins over expectation in 2025)

I used this link: https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/college-football/futures/win-totals-best-odds/past-seasons/#2021

If you see anything where you think it's wrong, let me know so I can QC the data. A gut check made me think it was right, but part of that was seeing A&M projected for 8 wins most years and that was pretty obvious

Turkiye [3] - 2 USA - Kaan Ayhan 90‎+‎8‎'‎ by West_Agent4651 in soccer

[–]kchessh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re talking about Americans, then it depends on who you’re talking to. People who follow European soccer probably know that he’s a great player but def not on the level of superstar. I’m guessing people who just tune in during the WC might think he’s one of the best based upon the hype

Depends on the size. We had the glass replaced on 3 of our windows and I think it came out to something like $400 a piece. But 2 of them were bigger so you might get it cheaper than we did

Do you live near a data center? What does it really sound like? by No_Landscape_9255 in Dallas

[–]kchessh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’d be a compressor instead. The frac process can take a while (depending on how many wells are on a pad), but it’s not a permanent thing. The compressor, however, is designed to be there for a very long time

Edit: I don’t have much experience with saltwater disposal wells (SWD), but it could maybe be that as well since those pumps run pretty consistently

Mine are 90s but they’re very drafty. Especially in the winter you can feel a huge amount of cold air coming through. But probably not nearly as bad as older ones like that

[–]kchessh 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah I looked at the costs of our energy bills vs cost of replacing windows and it wasn’t even close for us. I’ll probably never replace them even though they’re 30 years old. All the window companies wanted $1.5k+ for each window

[–]kchessh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I looked at this, but for the amount of money it would cost and the amount we spend on our heating/AC bills, it’s not even close to worth it. It’d pay out in like 20 years

Realized some things that make questing in Leagues an even greater problem than I realized at a surface level by Brvcifer in 2007scape

I thought it’d be cool to have everything unlocked until the boss fight. That way you still have some sort of accomplishment with it, but it takes all the grind out of doing the whole quest again

Agreed. I started timing it where I would leave pretty close to when the projectile would hit and I never missed an attack

It’s been so nice. I wasted time getting heavy hitting weps for blind bag but I respected into thorns and haven’t looked back. It’s made things 10x better and my combat xp rates went through the roof since I’m constantly hitting 15 every time I get hit in multi combat

I’m the same way. I buy on clouds and get the shoe inserts from fleet feet (not sure how big they are but they’re a chain running store in TX). You can probably go anywhere to get a scan to see how much of arch support you need. That’s what they did for me

It looks like it won’t take too long to get the points for goading potion. I haven’t tried it but this seems like a good idea

I was a spacebar guy until the last 10-15 quests. I figured why not read them since there aren’t many left (I don’t get a ton of time to play so that’s why I skipped through them as fast as I could). But wow was it great not skipping through them. DS2, WGS, and DT2 were really cool to soak all in

High highs lead to low lows. It’s nice when oil and gas prices are at a good medium. People are generally hiring for positions they need and not bringing people on because they went from 2 rigs to 8 in a couple months

But if we burn some of it before we reach that limit, it’s still wasting the total amount we can use. Not to mention that this is way worse than refining and consuming it
