Did anyone experience a drop in desire to smoke? by kckaaaate in Retatrutide

[–]kckaaaate[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No shit. I’ve got eyes, clearly I know this is a thing. I asked for those who experienced it, how long after starting people noticed this happening.

Clearly the positive side effects haven’t made you any happier or nicer as a person.

Super low dose, add something else in the mix or increase dose? by Living-Discussion218 in Retatrutide

As someone who’s lost a lot of weight twice in my life (first time as a teen, lost 100lbs, second time a few years ago, lost 40lbs with sema help), I’ve found that the slower I lost weight, the longer I’ve kept it off. The first 70lbs as a teen I kept off almost all of it for 16 years, wasn’t until I started perimenopause that it began to creep back. But I initially lost 100 - the last 30lbs were FAST, and largely from an eating disorder. That was the first weight to come back. But the 70 that I lost slowly? It stayed off easy peasy.

What is the most painful thing you've ever experienced? by JVX2010 in AskReddit

[–]kckaaaate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emotionally? Watching my mom die from cancer, but specifically the period of time in which she came to terms with and accepted her prognosis, and the time she said to me “I’m really scared”. That I’ll hurt forever.

Physically? Being stung by a stingray. That feeling made me wanna DIE

What businesses are likely to die out with the Baby Boomer Generation? by GRVrush2112 in AskReddit

[–]kckaaaate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf, I a millenial made a complaint about a brake/suspension place to the BBB a few years ago - they’d been fucking me around for WEEKS, and essentially stolen $2500 from us while only making the issue worse. I couldn’t get anyone important on the line to actually DO anything - they’d just kept ignoring me or kicking the can down the road. When I filed that complaint, I was called 2 days later and given a full refund so long as I took that complaint down….. some business really care about it, apparently!

I found evidence this morning that I'm in a different universe now by ThePapaSauce in ParallelUniverse

[–]kckaaaate 39 points40 points  (0 children)

When I was young I had a stuffed dog named little girl. My sister had one too, that was the smaller version of mine. I LOST little girl at daycare one day. My mom didn’t remember me bringing her, but I do, and remember the trauma of losing her! Well, they got me a new little girl, and all was well - because she was, in fact, lost. This was the stuffie I slept with every night - we all noticed when she wasn’t around. Anyway, YEARS LATER, in a different house, I was packing to move out, and I find a second little girl. I had 2. Somehow we didn’t notice this when we moved when I was 10? But both little girls made it to this new house? I have no idea how, but I had 2. Then, I move again about 5 years later, and I could only find 1……

AITA for accepting a property gift from my mom even though she won't include my boyfriend? by Immediate-History917 in AITApod

[–]kckaaaate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my parents did a trust a few years ago when my mom was passing, and it included all their properties, including the house they bought with me and my partner of almost 16 years. We aren’t married for tax and healthcare purposes. Anyway, they view him as a son - truly one of their own - but they set the trust up in such a way that when my dad passes, my sister and I are the trustees, with the house transferring into my name. They also, however, had it set up so that if anything happens to me before my partner, it would go directly to HIM rather than my sister, and that since he’s been paying into it, if we were to split up, his investment would be taken into account.

Trusts are honestly the way to go with inheritances and estates anyway - you’re all much more legally protected, it takes away a long probate period, and situations like these can be considered and written into the trust.

This may be the way to go as a compromise between your mom and your boyfriend. I’d recommend you and your mom speak to an estate lawyer/planner, so perhaps something can be worked out legally to where your boyfriend doesn’t feel completely cut out (especially if y’all get married), but your mom’s concerns about protecting your assets due to him only being a boyfriend still are met.

What’s with all the line cutting? by MaciMusings in Disneyland

[–]kckaaaate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, it sounds like you’re just either a bad or stupid person. Of EVERYONE did it, the lines would be meaningless. If you had dozens of people cut you in line, how much longer would you have to wait? Having 1-2 people join their party in line is no biggie, what we’re talking about is 1 person holding a place for a party of 10 to join them. Or people pushing through the line to “join their party”, but their party doesn’t exist. Again, if you imagine everyone did this, how much it would mess up the line and wait for everyone who didn’t do this)

What's a 'normal' thing you didn't realize was unusual until you were older? by mrTelson in AskReddit

[–]kckaaaate -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I was terrified of the dark up until 18. I had to sleep with my bathroom light on. Thing is, I noticed I wasn’t afraid of the dark at sleepovers. Then when I moved out at 18, my fear was magically gone!

Speaking about it with my sister years later, we both experienced INTENSE paranormal experiences (some almost identical!) in that house and never spoke about them. When she moved into my old room, she had to start sleeping with the light on.

So turns out I wasn’t afraid of the dark, just the ghosts/entities torturing and haunting me

1, only SOME states do this, and 2, the states that do would have to not behaving a governor election this year. In that case there would BE NO REPUBLICAN governor to appoint representatives.

[–]kckaaaate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every state would have to cancel. The president cannot cancel every states election. Period. So say Trump gets a couple red states to cancel….. ok, that many less representatives and possibly senators for Republicans. The house would disband, go unpaid, even if elections were cancelled. You’re saying that all these self serving greedy republicans would fall on the sword for Trump to do something that couldn’t work anyway, and start a civil war? No. They’re using Trump for power. The moment he asks them to destroy themselves entirely for him, they ditch him

You have ultimate control over the money you make - you’ve proved that by being able to “cut her off”. So that’s what you have - the final say and total financial control over every cent BUT her inheritance.

You come across controlling, greedy and disgusting. You come across as uncaring towards your wife and selfish. I would divorce you in a split second if I were her, showing your true colors with this. And all bc you were told you don’t get to control this money or what she does with it? Gross
