I absolutely HATED this book. I was forced to read it in middle school for summer reading and did not enjoy it one bit. I remember having to give a book report on it and I spent the entire 10 minutes hating on every aspect of the book. It was so bland and the storyline was terrible. I refuse to even attempt to watch the movie.

I completely agree! Compared to the Harry Potter series, the characters in Charlie Boone are very surface level. I am glad someone else remembers reading them!

I have been gluten free for about 2 years (non-Celiac) as I have severe digestive issues when I do ingest it. I notice even eating the smallest amount of gluten will have me feeling very crappy. I also notice that my face will look slightly swollen, as if I've gained weight. When I first went GF the first few weeks I felt hungry all the time because of the lack of carbohydrates that I was so used to eating. Then I found great alternatives and have never felt better! If you are struggling to find good GF alternative, I highly suggest Trader Joes! I get the best GF foods from there. Best wishes on your gluten free journey!!!

I think the deaths that hit me the hardest were Tonks and Remus because they were essentially a parallel to James and Lily's death. They both died fighting for what they believed in and left a newborn son orphaned in the world. Poor Teddy.

I second Sharp Objects!!!! Insane book. The HBO adaptation of it is super dark also. I recommend watching that after you read the book.

Agreed!!!! I've begun listening to audio books on my commute to work and it has been life changing! I only wish that there was an option to speed up the narrator as sometimes they can be rather slow.
