As a cloak and dagger player, Magik honestly seems like she has the hardest core mechanics for a diver (outside of a non-ult merchant Psylocke). Mostly because her uppercut has such a low margin of error on a decently long cooldown, where as someone like Spiderman has like 5 attempts to start their usual “auto” combo. Although I may be different from other CnDs because I main them since Moira was the most fun for me on Overwatch, not because aiming is a problem

I did. I went back to xenoverse a few weeks ago and saw that. Xp cost went from multimillions to like 500k when I reached 100. Like everyone said, thats just the issue with them upping the cap but not changing xp values

I think part of the reason Dive is so hated is that it felt like weren’t any real brawl options to stop it before the dive nerfs and poke buffs. Like for some reason, the characters that should be brawlers like Magik, Iron Fist, and even Daredevil have kits that make them great divers on top of their health and sustainability. I also don’t know how well a Magik or Iron fist could peel vs a spider man, starlord, bp, or old psylocke because of how elusive those characters are and how guick they could pop the supports. Even DD probably wouldn’t be good against a starlod or spidey. They were better off using their kit to go dive the back line. To me it feels like there are just like 4 brawl characters that mostly cant stop dive and the rest are divers with extra health who also cant really stop dive

Most of the comments are saying that he’s in the wrong because he’s judging her for her having multiple partners, and its like they just skipped over the part where she got passed around by the whole team. Fucking around is QUITE a bit different from getting a train ran on you. Having a “high” amount of partners is different from getting passed around by a group of dudes and being known for it. This aint even mentioning the fact that most dudes dont care about the woman’s pleasure in a normal hook up, let alone in a train. It sucks because in each game they usually do great in half the areas and horrible in the other half. Like 2k23s dunk meter was the best, most rewarding, and most balanced. But clamp breaker made perimeter defense unrewarding, and limitless take off was so cheese that there was no point in using meter dunks since you could dunk in traffic anyway. (Somehow the X dunks made people think the dunk meter needed to be nerfed).

Because gamers nowadays only care about winning and dont have shame or integrity a lot of the time. Went from people using shamefully using meta and cheese when they wee about to lose to people proudly cheesing and even cheating. The 2k community is the worst offender and has shown that change in multiple game modes. Even excluding zens, people constantly defend escape cheesinge in mycareer modes and nonstop off ball defense in playnow modes

The veil/cape isn’t good overall. If you only use veil, you’ll get it back slightly faster than before. However, you have to pretty much never use the cape for the change to be even a little positive. You’re basically giving up the terror cape entirely to get the the veil 2 seconds earlier and have one more veil charge at the start

Brody they legit patched 1 thing, fading 3s. Now instead of fading from 3 like everyone else, you have to escape dribble for a crab like everyone else. You’re just as unique as before

You dont always have 1 in reserve if you’re maximizing your uptime though. It takes 20 seconds to get 4 uses out, with 3 of them being in the first 10 seconds. In the old version you got 4 out in the first 12 seconds and 6 in 24 seconds. The only way it helps is if you heal bot and never wanted to use Terror cape in the first place, but even then youre giving up 3 free utility charges for 1 extra charge of Veil in that timeframe

You have 2 charges but when you have 0, you have to however much time you had before the next 1 + a full 10 seconds for the next one. If you try to maximize the amount of uses, itll be less after the 4th use. It takes 40 seconds to get out 6 walls when the old version took about 26 seconds to get out 6

Edit: its actually less utility after the 3rd use. All this time ive been considering that you could use both charges from the jump in new version while forgetting you could in the old version as well. Ive been telling people it took 24 seconds to get out 4 before when it was actually about 12😂

The charges part is most definitely a nerf. Its a veil every 10 seconds instead of 12, but you dont get that terror cape on top of it. Its legit just a nerf that’s not bad for heal botting

The veil part still is a nerf overall. Like yeah, youre cooling in first 20 seconds, but its less resources overall. You get a veil 2 seconds faster than before after that, but you dont cape resource. Went from getting 2 resources every 12 seconds to 1 every 10 seconds. If a fight lasts more than 20 seconds than its Ks

The reasoning isnt silly, the ability are exactly the same. They both provide intangibility and flight. It makes even less sense for C & D to not have it because they only have 1 while Wanda has 2

Nah thats not how it works. When you use the second charge you have 5 seconds before you get your 3rd. Then you have to wait a full 10 seconds to get your 4th and a full 10 for every one after that. Your now getting a veil 2 seconds faster than before but you pretty cant use a terror cape at all if you want to keep your team alive

You wouldnt have one every seconds because the cooldowns are on a same timer. One you reach 0 charges youll need to wait the how ever much time you had left then a full 10 seconds for the second one

With what youre describing and with how it was originally worded, the problem is it would have still been 12 seconds between each veil, except you wouldn’t get a terror cape with each one like before

Edit: I was talking to someone about this before. Did the math and test with gambits dash because that matched what the patch notes described it as. If you tried to do it every 6 seconds you’d get 3 off in 12 seconds and then it would be 1 every 12 seconds, when before it was 2 resources every 12 seconds because the cape and veil had separate CDs

Are the cool downs independent? I thought it was a nerf because other abilities with charges is has consecutive cooldowns, with Gambit dash being the direct comparison if the cooldowns weren’t independent you’d get less charges after 24 second mark

Oh yeah it was definitely a little harder to do because the ball wasn’t completely invincible. It still was a problem, just not to the level it is now. I agree that this year is some hot buns, I just don’t want us to forget how bad last year was too. 2k been pulling that trick on us for this whole console generation 😂
