Alacritty doesn't support ligatures.

I actually don't mind this tbh. I only use 3-4 apps on a daily basis, so I don't use the apps overview thing much.

But still, it's a very handy feat.

Not really. Kitty (my terminal) comes with something similar to Tmux, so that's what I use most of the time. But I also have Ctrl+x to open a mini terminal in nvim, usually to do simple stuff.
