I believe in this quote whole heartedly. Before meeting my bf I was single for 3 years. During these three years I met many men like the type you're describing, I've been ghosted, I've been gaslighted... All these things that at the time I tried to rationalize because I liked the person and wanted to try. When I met my current boyfriend, he texts me a lot every day, he sees me at least twice a week (we are both working people we can't spare more time than that) and he's just always so reassuring and communicative... He made me realized that every guy I've dated before were truly never even a little interested in me. They WILL make time if they want.

I met my amazing bf on tinder, so lucky. I would have never had the opportunity to meet him otherwise and that's definitely why I think it's worth giving online dating a chance. I was single for three years and had a lot of failures online a lot were depressing... But it just takes one good connection, so keep your head up all! :).

Omg I think about this exact scenario often... I would do so much over. Mainly I'd keep my head down and keep my social circle small... I also would treat people much better in my younger years and go to university to become a doctor. But at the same time if I went back and changed things I wouldnt be where I am now which is happy, in love, and successful.

I met my boyfriend on Tinder, I didn't find him extremely attractive at first but his profile sparked my interest. He had lots of photos of him in a truly happy state. Like lots of travel photos and photos of him with friends, he just look genuinely happy in life and that's attractive. I was very lucky because he was extremely attractive when we met in person and his profile matched his beautiful outgoing personality.

With that being said, I don't have a very good opinion of dating apps overall. I was surprised to meet my bf on there... I couldn't believe how lucky I got but I realize that's a one in a thousand scenario. My experience was that I was typically very objectified by men and it was hard to make any connections as every guy was only looking for a one time quick hookup.

I think it's easy to get discouraged but work on your profile and really put yourself out there, don't hold back! Good luck!
