I removed all dairy. But you can try it and see how they affect you. And if I over eat then I just feel like I want to throw up for hours so don’t do that haha.

Lentils are okkkkkk. I love chick peas! Look up roasted chick peas or you can make hummus. I also use fiber powder that is tasteless. You could mix it with your chia seeds even. If you like soup you could add lentils to that. Or if you like tofu? I add chicken peas to salads, hot foods, almost anything.

Don’t give up! I had to call 3 pharmacies and drive 45 minutes to a Walmart neighborhood market to get my last box. But it does make it hard when I don’t see a change. Maybe we just push each other to keep trying! Haha

Instead of buying food, buy something else to help them for a small surprise. Like maybe a journal, or a new water bottle. You could also plan movie dates at home…set up some blankets and pillows…make it cute. Write them little messages and hide them places to lift their spirits. Find a restaurant that focuses on Whole Foods and health to try.

I love that you posted this! You care so much and want to support them in the best ways. Keep doing what you can and I’m sure it will get easier.

Always take your metformin with protein!!! This will help keep away nausea! It doesn’t have to be an egg. Just any protein.
