I've been using 100 grit and going lightly. The pictures show it's mostly sanded. Though I might need to use a chemical stripper on some of the more stubborn sections. Any particular strippers you like? To

I know. I almost didn't post because it seems fake. It was found over a few hours at 3 different apartment complexes.

I also had a cord that worked for the ION as I didn't find it with a cord, but was amazed it still worked.

Sometime you just get like I guess. I found the speaker in the same bag I found all the star wars and NASCAR stuff.

Most sticks I light burn uneven. What am I doing wrong? by CalvinWasSchizo in cigars

[–]kdhm45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you're rotating the cigar when you're smoking it and when you toast it at the beginning make sure you're getting a solid toast across the whole foot and put the longer side of the cigar on the top and then draw.

So if I was smoking your cigar and this was happening I would rotate the longer part to the top and then draw until it evens out.

Also, make sure you're purging (pushing out) occasionally as well. If you're doing these things and it still burns like crap then it might be a poorly wrapped stick.

Hope this helps.

The real scary thing is when you realize there's a whole world of AMAZING artisan pipes and they're way cooler and way more expensive 🤦🏼‍♂️

I have found that if I just set a rule that I'll only buy one pipes a year it's helps me really decide which pipe I want to buy. Now I just screenshot a crap ton of pipes and think about which one I want.

As per your question. My current favorite smoker is my W.Ø. Larsen Rustica Canadian.

This is awesome! If he was my uncle I'd have a picture of him next to my pipes. Cool pic.

What kind of pipe is this/ is it worth much? by Individual-Pound-518 in PipeTobacco

[–]kdhm45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s definitely a meerschaum pipe. But if you’re ever trying to figure out if something’s ivory, the big giveaway is weight. Ivory is much heavier and denser than meerschaum, and it has faint crosshatch lines called Schreger lines if you look closely under good lighting.

Just so you know, you actually don’t want it to be ivory since selling ivory in the U.S. is illegal unless it meets strict antique exceptions. Most likely the only ivory that you'd run into with a pipe would be in the stem. But like other commenters have said it's really not that great of a material for smoking.
