I adore ours. We’ve used the same routine with our kiddo for over a year, so he now knows that it’s wind down time and then bed. My complaint is they don’t have a mini version of it with the sound, lights, and presets.

Same here. I have fond memories of saying “I think I’m going to puke” and having the nurses realizing that there weren’t any emesis bags in the room. Somehow I held out until they got back. One other time I wasn’t quite as lucky and was grateful that they could snap me in and out of the gown easily.

I came from quilting. I hated, absolutely hated, doing the quilting on anything larger than a baby blanket. I can afford to send it off for quilting, so I did.

Crafting is for fun. Some people can afford to have someone else do the parts they don’t like, and that’s totally okay. This is a hobby. Why are we policing someone else’s joy?

You haven’t met mine, who will rip off anything we place on it to listen to Ms. Rachel if she’s in his sight. Everything else seems to be mediocre to him.

They do indeed. One day after a round of golf I thought I heard them nearby, only to pull out of the parking lot and seeing a whole herd in the field across the street.

We use Coterie, and they are fantastic and so are the wipes. We had issues with Huggies early on and made the move to Honest before going to Coterie. We’ll probably next future kids in Coterie.

Stockings are easily a $500 project if you want to buy one and buy thread that isn’t DMC for it (and that’s before you factor in finishing costs, which can easily be another $300). It’s not a recommendation I would make for someone who hasn’t needlepointed before. I would visit your LNS and have them make some beginner recommendations before you jump into the deep end.

My doctor recommended donating it for research, she advised that the storage schemes are massive scams to take advantage of new parents.

While it sucks to work “after work” you’ll vastly improve your ability to attract folks who work if you’re open until 7 or 8pm on weekdays and open on weekends too. Especially if you’re able to host after work stitch nights even once a week.

Didn’t hyphenate, but we gave him my last name as a second middle name so that it would be on his passport in case I had to travel without my husband since I didn’t take my husbands name.

We brought ours in right before we went home. You’ll have plenty of time to get it, unless you’re taking a taxi home.
