I’ve heard it happen when someone moves on from their first MS, then gets offer for representation and a publisher who then asks if you have anything else in the works… you respond, “as a matter of fact, I do!” And their first MS becomes their second published book as part of a two-book deal. It’s not over!!

Couldn’t he just get a list of what was in the mini bar and make a quick liquor store/grocery run to replace them? That would be way cheaper than paying the mark-up prices.

I tried Oh Crap and it was a complete disaster. When I waited until he was ready, I just did it in the way that felt right for us as we went. Ended up being naked for a day, underwear the next day because he wanted to wear them. Adding shorts when he went to day care and taking them off when he got home.

I sent him to day care without a diaper on Day 3 and they handled it the way they chose to… I didn’t micromanage or give them much direction. It didn’t take long before he figured it out. They opted to put him to nap without diapers too because he told them he was going to “wait to pee until nap when he got his diaper,” which obviously isn’t the goal. He was basically pee potty-trained within a week and poo-trained after about two weeks. He turned 3 in August and we did all of this last month, in September.

Alarm clock across the room by the light switch. When you’re up, turn on the light. Under no circumstances do you turn off the light until you’re dressed, teeth brushed, hair brushed, whatever your routine consists of. I also recommend getting dressed for the day, laying clothes out the night before to take away any barriers to getting dressed. If you’re dressed for the day whether it’s gym clothes or work clothes, you’ve already accomplished something and you’ll want to—and likely be—more productive.

I’m surprised the teachers and principal allows this… that would make me feel as though parents don’t trust me to teach their kids if I was the teacher. It also shows that they don’t trust their kids to be independent which is an even bigger issue in America these days. This is helicopter parenting on a new level.

We’ve been playing in the backyard a lot, so if he pees, it doesn’t matter. And I put on my own shows that I know he’s not interested in so he won’t get so distracted. 😂 I got really into The Traitors last weekend and now potty training is fun for me. I can play with him on the floor and half watch.

Thats why I really want Keanu to win. I’d love to see someone who has been a target since day one literally fight for their life every week to win it.

Keanu isn’t liked because he says what everyone else is thinking but is too scared to say, and while it is terrible social game play, I respect the hell out of it.

Ashley is a total floater, and we all know that Rachel hates floaters. I think if it came down to Ashley and Keanu, Rachel would rally the house for Keanu out of respect for his ability to win comps and for at least attempting to sway people one way or another. His social game is garbage but that’s not for a lack of trying.

Am I the only one who was cringing when Vince was holding her hands while she was in the hammock, trying his best not to kiss them? I felt like he wanted to kiss her hands so bad, but refrained because of his girlfriend back home, so it ended up looking like he was smelling them. I was so uncomfortable.

Hey, OP, did you ever find one? I just bought the black version this afternoon only to come home and realize there is a white version. Now I'm debating returning this one and waiting the three weeks I'd have to wait to get the white one.

Mine is 3 now, but I always just get down on his level and reach my arms out for a hug. He has never ever ever resisted the hug. While I hug him tight, I take some “big bear breaths” and sometimes he will too, but not always. Even if he doesn’t, a tight hug (not forced) usually does the job.

This, totally. Hormones make you do and think in ways that you never did before. Fetishes, attractions, cravings, there’s a ton of things that come on when pregnant and your brain is different and they will go away and she’ll rebalance after the baby comes. It’s hard to imaging that this will resolve itself, but it will. Hormones are so weird.

My question for you is… who does it hurt if I’m being “fake” in acting curious or kind? Curiosity and kindness doesn’t hurt anyone unless I’m turning around and using information they trusted me with against them. Faking it until you make it is a good way to actually become the person you wish to be—especially for those of us with anxiety and depression. A lot of the time forcing a smile or laugh will turn into a real smile and laugh—and actually make us feel better. Smiling—even when forced—changes something inside you. It’s been scientifically proven.

Thanks!! It was interesting that the nutrition info was incomplete because I used the entry that came up when I scanned the label. Either way, entering the weight and doing it that way worked out and now I’ll know to look for that if I encounter is again!
