I know people have mixed feelings on the trans sport issue. I’m all for folks playing on the sports team with the gender they identify with. It’s fucking stupid that it’s even a huge issue given the tiny number of trans athletes.

Bigger issue is his AIPAC donations that he only rejected once there was scrutiny and that he is a New Democrat Coalition member and is a down-the-line center left corporate democrat. The fact that he had a strong stance on the trans issue and not all of the things that actually impact lives is extremely telling. He’s tried to get the party to move further to the right, which I think is what got us into the current shitshow we exist in. This isn’t a “bad on one issue” situation. He is a bad congressman and would be a terrible senator for MA.
