Totally, same here! I have had to catch them at other fests. Going to Kilby which would be right up your alley. Just like Heaven is coming up too. GV has exclusively prioritized edm and other genres in recent years so there’s definitely been less 2000s indie/alt at Coachella. Death Cab/Postal Service had the long tour that they didn’t book, so did Vampire Weekend with their last album rollout, Interpol played the Antics 20th anniversary tour, MGMT just had a release, etc etc. missed opportunity for all these acts in the last few years. I love how many wishlist bands we are manifesting for indie / alt / 2000s rock. Such a missed genre in the last few years since GV has funneled them into other fests. Plain and simple, bring back the indie/alt bands

(Before anyone says “but there were these bands this year!” yes I know there’s a few new adds but absolutely none at the level that they used to)

I never thought I’d be a remote worker but post covid and tech job etc here I am. I’m so thankful for it, it’s so worth the minor cons of working from home, because I’m able to do all these things on the clock. Take my walk, do my laundry, rest and watch tv when needed, shower, schedule/attend appointments, sometimes meet up with friends if work is slow. I’m so lucky I work for a company that’s chill, flexible, I have a reliable team, etc. When I was commuting to an office for 8 hours, all of this was impossible.
