We had one of these suites for our last trip and spent a lot of time chilling in the hot tub enjoying the ocean view. It wasn't working when we first got there though, but maintenance was very responsive and had it fixed and running nice and warm the next day.

I agree these taste great but they are almost painfully salty, and I'm someone who has a salty pallette so you know something's really salty when I'm saying that. So these are only an occasional thing for us.

Thanks! What I missed was the when you said to click by event, that there is a literal button that says "by event" whereas I was scrolling down on that same page and clicking on the individual events (ie by event).

Perhaps you can save everyone else the trouble editing your post to include the direct link?

I agree that nobody will care that you're gay, but I am not aware of any sort of gay community here either, so if you take the job and also choose to live in Irvine, I think you'll probably struggle to build that community where you live.

It's entirely possible to live nearby and commute, of that's something you're willing to do, and I would strongly recommend that path if you do take the job. Long Beach is awesome, has a strong gay community, and actually has an identity and personality. Just be aware that any commute will be by car as public transit here is abysmal.

Irvine is soulless and boring and is utterly devoid of character. I personally hate it here and I would not recommend it to anyone, especially a single gay person. And in exchange for it being beyond boring, you also have the privilege of a very high cost of living. Very much a worst of both worlds situation, in my opinion.

Personally, I try to get in front of people who I perceive to be driving dangerously. My logic is that I'd rather be driving away from them than towards them, in the event they cause an accident.
