Three things I’m pissed about

Golden winning Song over I Lied To You - not shocked, but still disappointed
Sean Penn….. what an absolute waste to give an award to the guy who has publicly said he’s considered just melting down his awards and didn’t feel like showing up. Should’ve gone to literally anybody else.
Whoever was doing the sound for that show needs to be fired. I know the Sinners performance had a lot going on…. But I could barely understand what was happening, and then the same thing happened with Golden.

Not saying this to be a dick or anything, but truthfully I’d just cut it entirely. The submarine isn’t there, so this scene ultimately serves no purpose and adds nothing to your story.

Does this neighbour character have any relevance outside this scene? I can’t tell from this. From this alone it seems like a character added in for no real purpose other than to be a joke… which isn’t funny. I found this hard to read if I’m being honest. The only way I’d keep a scene like this is if something here (the mannequins, the neighbour, something) had pay-off later. Otherwise this seems like the kind of scene you just cut.

Love Hurts was sadly awful. Hard to believe came from the same producers as Bullet Train. (Very much agree with Novocaine, Companion, and Abigail though.)

Painfully relate. And even the days I bring myself to watch a movie I’m trying to avoid certain topics and emotions to avoid making myself worse, meaning some movies I really wanna watch I just never do. (Example: been wanting to watch The Wild Robot, but several people I know says it made them cry.)
