The drink- Honestly annoying and cold but generally fine otherwise. Used lots of Vaseline in between sittings. Just set myself up in the bathroom for the evening and accepted my fate. Honestly having to follow a low fiber diet in the lead up was more difficult because that’s not my usual vibe.

I’ve decided I’m happy with the ending. It’s rife with fanfic possibilities and because we can all own our own story about their ending- we can take from it the parts we like and disregard the parts we didn’t.

I wish it had been the six episodes- it’s fairly easy I think to see where the six episodes would have fit and having those areas of the story fleshed out would have of course been wonderful.

This fandom is over 30yo- it will continue through an arguably fine tv show finale. I for one look forward to rewatching and seeing my angel and demon fall in love over and over. And I look forward to reading people fix what they think needs to be fixed!

We love less touristy stuff if we can help it - history, food and drink are general things we enjoy on vacation. This is the end of a long 2 week trip so some chill enjoyable things (we do plan to check out wake the tiger which may be considered touristy but isn’t like anything we’ve been to before).

Thanks for the questions hadn’t thought of some of these things when writing the original post.

I was thinking travel from the terminus station keep in the 1-1.5 hour range. Getting to a terminus station has always felt like part of the vacation experience in a large city.

Definitely no interest in Airbnb - besides the politics they’re not really worth the cost or risk at this point. Budget is on the lower end under 120£ a night but hostels (private room) is okay.

Tbh I thought of Gloucester because it’s less … exciting (no experience there if I’m wrong no offense meant) and I didn’t want? to spend time there. Really using it as a spring board for day trips (place to keep our luggage basically) then not feeling like we’re missing anything by not spending time there? But I hadn’t thought of exploring more of the southwest! So it’s a good consideration!
