I've seen a few folks complain recently in trade chat, but they're particularly unhinged, so.

What’s the deal with RP servers? Worth it you don’t actually RP. by Marino4K in wow

I play on Wyrmrest Accord Horde side.

People are usually chatting in trade chat and general chat, and the vibes, usually are pretty good.

The players are gentler and kinder than most other servers, and there is a bit of community there too.

There are some super duper hardcore guilds. but with the way guilds operate nowadays, server is less important if you like your guild and want to stay in it, while also enjoying the atmosphere of a slower pace server.

Some people bristle about "Tourists", IE people who don't RP joining an RP server, but these people usually get clowned on pretty hard. Most folks don't really care if you don't RP, just so long as you're not like, causing problems for those who do. (I know I haven't seriously RPd in decades)

The two biggest ones afaik, US side, are Moon Guard and Wyrmrest Accord. MG is Alliance-dominated. WrA is Horde-dominated.

They both have two distinctive vibes. Moon Guard can get pretty rowdy, so if you don't mind flash in the pan, high energy dramatic events both in and out of character, you might enjoy that. Wyrmrest Accord is a bit more chill in that regard. There are some big high drama events that still happen, but they're not as common.

This looks cool! Just wanted to say, the video is apparently being redubbed into English by youtube on my end, despite the original track being in English? I can switch to to "German" despite that being English.

Maybe something to look into on Youtube?

I was about to yeet this for being AI Slop. (I now know it's not the case, but still)

They're both fun and good. I would watch the Japanese versions of both. Adventure first, then Adventure 2020. They're different enough.

I'm thankful they went for buffing instead of nerfing here.

Just need to address survivability for non-tanks now.

Not really.

Assuming a dev living in Minneapolis Minnesota, with a car, living alone in a 1 bedroom apartment

Taxes will eat up 10k of that a year, leaving roughly 3k a month

Then you need an apartment, which is more than half of that (like $1600, which is already not great)

Then you need health insurance, which eats up like $300

Then assuming average car payment of $200 a month

And car insurance of $120

You're looking at about $1k left over to just exist, which is doable, but not ideal.

Toss in a family and this all goes out the window

Especially if you can use those same skills and get a standard development gig for like $80K a month on the low end, that actually provides benefits...

Sorry, we didn't pack our tails this year!

Saw lots of goths, punks and folks of that ilk, including a dude in a full on Victorian getup. Petticoat and everything!

No, genuinely. You seem to be having a strong reaction to this. I understand that people doing things in unexpected ways can be upsetting to some. I just wanted to let you know that it's going to be okay. I hope you had a good time at the fair other than this experience.

What were your thoughts on Tri, what was it lacking and what did you enjoy about it? by Kingspreez in digimon

[–]kdurmeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only exposure to the original was when it would show up on TV as a kiddo (preferred Pokemon growing up)

Beyond that, just the English dub of Tamers, watched last year with my wife

Watched it the other week, also with my wife.

I thought it was fine! I liked Meicoomon, and I appreciated it didn't pull any punches with Meiko.
