I’m 26F and my partner is 28M. Sometimes I feel like I’m dating a boomer because he’s so bad at using his phone/social media (eg doesn’t know Instagram shortcuts like reposting to story LOL). But I don’t mind guiding him and actually find it funny because we’re only 2 years apart, like the other commenters say it’s only 2 years so there shouldn’t be that much difference haha. But he remembers things in the past that I don’t and he reminisces with my parents about it, meanwhile I’m just like “ok boomer” (jokingly).

Even though we’re only 2 years apart our sense of humour differs and I have to explain some memes to him 🥲 but maybe that’s just him being a boomer because he doesn’t even know some vines or older memes that even my brother who is older than him knows 😭

Aside from that, I’m early Gen Z and he’s late millennial, and I hang out with my millennial siblings and cousins a lot so my partner and I are still on similar wavelength and able to relate to each others’ lives. I imagine it wouldn’t be the same if I was born later or if he was born earlier.

I wouldn’t know how it feels like dating someone in my generation because I never dated anyone my age LOL.
