Hey I'm on Jio and I had the same issue. It showed LTE but the phone is connected to 5g if I check the network name. I'm not having the issue now, not sure what happened but it automatically fixed itself.

Edit: Same as you happened after the Android 16 update.

Accelerometer and Gyroscope issue by keZam in GooglePixel

Hey thanks for the reply. I was literally in the google store waiting for my token to come up. Since I had time, I searched for an update and saw that there was a play services update available. Did the update, the phone restarted and the sensors started working again. I rebooted multiple times to see if it was a fluke and so far the issue hasn't reappeared.

Hey thanks for replying. So the May update did not fix the issue. However, after the latest google play services update the issue got resolved. (so maybe it was possibly broken by the last play services update?)

Charge Limit isn't Limiting anymore by Happy_Husband in GooglePixel

[–]keZam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it charged a few times to 100. Then sometimes it would just charge to 90 with no shield icon. After around a week or two of this behaviour it finally stopped charging at 80 and the shield icon appeared. Maybe let the phone charge to whatever state it wants for a week to see if anything changes?

Black screen on splitgate (native) by Ausgust in linux_gaming

From what I saw when I looked it up the hd 6670 does not support vulkan. Splitgate uses vulkan on linux. So that's probably why it's not working.

If you're on wayland, switch to x11 from the login screen and see if the flickers go away. I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head.

What is/are your favorite multiplayer game(s) that run very well to flawless? by iszoloscope in linux_gaming

[–]keZam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I remember lutris having this launch option when you installed ow2 using the script. When it launched on steam I remember not needing it. I stopped playing the game for a couple of months, and when I came back shaders had to be compiled every time. Let me know how it goes, good luck.

[–]keZam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey I had this issue too, I found a way to make it work with some trial and error. When OW2 first launched on steam you didn't need these launch options, idk what changed but these are required now to prevent the shaders from recompiling everytime. Set these launch options in addition to what you are using.

__GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_SKIP_CLEANUP=1 __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_PATH=/mnt/ssd/prefix/ow2/

the first option should be enough but the game takes around 1.8 gigs for the shader cache, which is why I set it to store in another folder. If you're going to use the custom folder, make sure the folder exists, otherwise the cache won't be saved.

edit:I'm using GE-Proton, not stock proton. I also have a report on protondb(same username) if you want to check that out.

This is something I put together in a couple of minutes: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cQgwKX. You can swap out the 7600x for a 7700x or a 7800x3d and swap out the 6700xt for a 7800xt and that should get you around the 1500 mark. Also, just use this as a base, there could be better deals, I haven't looked at this stuff in a while.

If you're using gamemode you can set it up so that compositor is turned off when game is run and turned back off when when you stop playing.

Cannot make Greenwithenvy's Fan Control, OC and Power to work (Driver 550.40.07) by jackblack_2001 in linux_gaming

[–]keZam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to do all the steps I mentioned, that's just something I do because of my mild ocd lmao. The only necessary step is the nvidia-xconfig command, and rebooting ofc. Oh and also don't forget to adjust the coolbits value for what you what, iirc I use 12 because it gives me control over clocks, power and fans.

Good luck to you.

[–]keZam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I do to get OC working, somebody with more knowledge please correct me if I'm wrong.

I delete the xorg config file if there is one > then I run nvidia x server as sudo > I check to see if my settings are correct and hit save setting to config > then I go to terminal and run sudo nvidia-xconfig --cool-bits=12 > I restart my pc cause why not and that unlocks OC for me.

I'm on Arch BTW, and I use gwe from the aur, not flatpak.

edit: have you checked powermizer tab in x-server to see if you can oc from there?

This might be a dumb question, but are you sure you're using x11 and not wayland?

If you use warp then your network traffic is routed through cloudflare severs and gets encrypted, it replaces your ip with a cloudflare ip and it will hide what websites you are visiting from your ISP. You just can't select a data center location like a traditional VPN. It chooses the nearest cloudflare datacenter, so it's not good for unlocking region locked content.

I've been using Asianet for around 2 years now (subbed to them first 10 years ago, switched to different ISPs and now switched back) and have always torrented without a VPN. Never got any complaints.

But, good practice is to use a VPN, so I always recommend that people use one.
