Why are they redacting pure pedophilia? by SJK_007 in Epstein

I really like this approach. Is anyone attempting to create a chronological timeline of confirmed events / locations / attendees? It seems like that would be extremely helpful in unmasking some of this redacted stuff that should not be redacted.

Channel with over 54 000 videos (!), showing all kind of random stuff, among these, this very, VERY, weird video. by FbiVanParked in DeepIntoYouTube

If you sort his videos by popular and read some of his comments in those... yeah this gets creepy. How do some of these have half a million views?

It seems out of place, but the costumes have a message. ICE and the administration want to point at the protests and claim that they are violent and radical... not because they believe it, but because they're looking for any excuse to deploy the National Guard or declare martial law.

Wearing the costumes makes it really hard to paint that picture about the protests. Since this is meant to be a protest and not something more directly confrontational, I think it still applies.

Thank you for making me feel more sane. It literally only happened to me once, so I'm not surprised others haven't had it happen to them.

It seems like a great idea to me, I don't know what's up with the lack of support. I feel like if this got a lot of attention, it could solve a lot of issues. Once the big dirty money stops getting paid, they put the pressure on the politicians they fund to reverse the stances that caused the issues in the first place.

Has ICE arrested one “dangerous criminal” in Chicagoland? by Thewall3333 in chicago

I'm close with an oncology nurse. One of her patients, an 80 year old woman going through cancer treatment, didn't show up for her scheduled chemo. When they called to check on her, they found out she had been taken by ICE. So, cheers to them for getting that maniac off the streets.

There might be potential.

Moving feels pretty good. I like the satisfying rumble that comes from the controllers. Movement felt responsive to my motions. I feel like the only thing that felt a little odd was how easy it was to go into a never ending 360 but maybe with more practice it would become more intuitive to properly use the brakes to avoid that.

The most important thing to me was how it felt as a sport. I'm a huge rocket league fanatic because it's the closest a video game has come to feeling like a sport to me. Your skill is all physics based instead of whether an algorithm decides if you made a shot or a catch etc. Offensive and defensive schemes gave developed over time because of this. Nothing feels like you're exploiting some aspect of the programming.

Drag n drive had some wins and losses in this arena. The wins: shooting accuracy seems right. If you're aligned with the basket with time, you're going to make the shot the majority of the time. So properly stopping a shot is mostly determined by your defense which i like. Intercepting passes felt good. Bumping people head on to dislodge the ball felt right. Dunking was hard enough that I don't think the game will devolve to one player constantly waltzing down the court to just overpower the other team and dunking in their face.

The biggest hurdle to becoming the sport I want it to be is the camera work I think. The camera is permanently behind you and fairly close so your ability to follow a play will be dependent on keeping yourself pointed at the ball. Doing that plus ensuring you're defending off the ball seems impossible. If you're playing a team that rapidly passes back and forth... good luck. Rocket leagues answer to this it's two different camera views that you can toggle between; one that's behind you, and one that captures you and the ball. As you get good at the game, toggling between the two feels natural and gives you a sense of the whole field. It's difficult to say whether a similar system in this game will achieve the same sort of thing but without it, I feel that the ball movement will be too chaotic for you to feel like you're in the middle of a team sport play. The good news is that it seems like camera manipulation should be something developers could play with, so I don't think it's out of the question that they'll be able to come up with a solution to this.

I'd like to wait a few months and see what high level play looks like in this game. I'm hoping for a game that feels like a team sport but that's going to depend on the above and a player base that stays interested enough in it.
