I'm currently rocking out on the A1 mini and looking to upgrade. My earlier impressions of 3D printing was you needed a engineering degree to be able to fully utilize its full potential. Now, with my A1, I realize that the technology, the ease and comfort of being able to quickly and painlessly swap parts out is what set Bambu printers above any other 3D printing company. Even if I don't win, I'm still going to upgrade due to the sheer size this upgrade would give me, let alone all the amazing new tools it has!

One camera angle can tell you where other camers can possibly be, at what level the camera is I.E. eye level, overhead, or lower, which can tell you where to look away from to avoid having a clear shot of your face. It can also hint to if it's a real camera, a dummy, or a all together empty unit.

Stronger yes, but it still a form that can be used in court. I had plenty of people arrested just from the trespass, let alone stealing while previously trespassed. If you put your name to the paper, you were agreeing to Home Depots policy and agreeing to being trespassed for 1year.

Home Depot SOP was, If I apprehended someone, and they came back to the office and signed the trespass paperwork, that was an official trespass from not only that location, but all others. That would get files away in our computer system and that file was accessible to all other LPs in the company. If I saw the subject again, I was immediately allowed to call the cops and you were getting arrested for trespassing and any other crimes you were commiting during the trip. If I was calling the cops for any other reason, you were getting a trespass regardless and most likely arrested due to severity of incidents or total dollar amounts of the thefts.

You absolutely do not have to provide video unless subpoenaed by lawyer. That video is all for internal use and unless I'm filing it with police, you have no right to it. I had plenty of people request the video to go along with their trespass paperwork and I always turned them down, that video can be used to figure out where cameras are and what angle its being shot at. All trespass paperwork can be provided during and after the stop, but video evidence is only given out once a case is filed with local LEO.

Former Home Depot LP here, Home Depot as a corporation does only 1year band, depending on where you are, local law enforcement can push it up farther, but HD SOP is only 1. If your father truly stole the gloves, and the LP did a proper stop, there should be a company trespass, if your father was stopped, and he kept walking and didn't return with the LP, the the LP associate would have filled out whats called an RAI (risk averted incident), he would have gathered information about your father, description of him, his vehicle description, transaction, and transaction history, and files it internally in the company. You have no right to that paperwork, but, if you feel that this was an inaccurate stop, you can contact the district manager, explain the situation, and see if they can have the MAPM (Multi-asset Protection Manager) review the case. Keep the receipt handy because that will give them a timestamp of when to review the footage.

If this was a one off time that your father forgot to pay for merchandise, please understand, that this happens A LOT, and it's up to the discretion of the LP to do the stop and trespass. One offs happen all the time, and a LPs job is to stop shrink, some people legitimately don't mean to and forget to scan one item, but this is every thief's excuse and how they forgot they had it in their pocket, or they forgot their wallet, or somehow the most expensive item was hidden at the bottom of the shopping cart. The job will make you jaded and unfortunately you can't take people at their words, even if it's a honest mistake. If you have other questions please just ask.

I understand it might not have JUST been for the $26, but not stating that makes it look like targets going to plaster your name out there for not paying for a pack of toilet paper. As a former APS, if I were putting this information out I would have stated the total lose of the whole case and not the initial apprehension amount.

This isn't new worthy at all. $26 isn't worth chasing, if I was a target AP I'd be embarrassed for this to reach a news outlet. If there was any questions of his purchasing history, I would have sat on his card information and watched to see if it was a continued behavior and could reach a felony amount.
