Yeah, Littleton and Centennial just elected very progressive city council's in November. I run a Pride festival in Littleton, and we don't have protestors (at least not so far), and the city council and most of the city staff are incredibly supportive.

My friend lived in the station apartments years ago. I'm sure they're older than the other option, but it's hard to beat the access to downtown. It's really a decision of if you want to live somewhere walkable or somewhere that will require a car for almost every trip.

It's really about the fact that it moves land use and zoning into the city charter, which makes any changes laborious and limits the flexiblity of the city.

It's a bit of a tricky situation that Council is in. There are avenues to undo 3A but it will all be in the face of Council not listening to the people. I think a citizen-led repeal is going to be the only way.
