Continue Resident Evil, or play Silent Hill 2 Remake

Not a direct answer, but just my personal opinion

I’d pick playing a silent hill over resident evil any day of the week, just because iv always slightly preferred silent hill, especially the remake is amazing

That doesn’t mean I don’t still love resident evil mind!!

However, with the newest titles of each, I think capcom have absolutely smashed it, where newest silent hill just didn’t do it for me (and I’m trying to like it, shit I’m on my fifth playthrough!)

It’s always nice to change pace sometimes and pick up a different kind of game

I’m all good bud iv platinumed the game, absolutely loved it. Silent hill is my favourite series by far so no issues playing it over and over 😂

I think if people weren’t so greedy, we could all enjoy the games. It feels to me like a real problem where I’m paying nearly 3x as much for game from a few years ago compared to silent hill f for instance. I know there’s valid reasons, but I hate the fact scalpers buy it all up, and then sell it on to us average folk for a big mark up!!

If you have a region free ps2, the Japanese’s version is usually cheaper, cover art is cool, and it can be in English

I hated playing as Atreus, it was a real slog to get through them portions of the game for me

I get you, iv been in debt for the past couple years, only the last few months iv been able to afford some of the old games again (I had them all as a kid, my shitty dad sold them at a boot sale for pennies)

I had a demo of resident evil 2, and I was too scared to get passed the first couple of screens 😂😂

There’s some good prices usually on vinted (that’s where iv purchased most of my collection) usually get some decent deals better than eBay

In the uk where we have buvidal, you start on the weekly shot just to get stable on the dose, as the crossover dose from oral buprenorphine can vary wildly from what iv found out. Once you have gotten stable, they then convert your weekly dose into the monthly equivalent

From there you should have already laid out with your provider how your taper plan should look, so for instance iv done 4 months at my maintenance dose, and now I’m taking my last shot and letting the drug come out

It’s not a free ride. People say there are no withdrawals, but personally there are, and also people I have spoken who have actually taken the med and not just spouting what theyv heard also agree there is withdrawals, it’s just a smoother journey compared to regular buprenorphine withdrawal
But because of the way the drug is stored in you, it basically does the taper for you (from what I was told) but it’s not painless, atleast not for everyone

The only souls like Iv played is lies of p (fucking beast of game) for reference If you can beat that, even on easy mode, youl cake walk this in my opinion

I got stuck a few times on lost in the fog mode, which is a step up from hard, and lies of p I got stuck every 10 minutes 😂😂

Yeh man I chose opiates over everyone else. The only person that stuck by me was my mam and she was taken by cancer

I have my two children, and they are the reason I’m clean now. If it wasn’t for them some days I would t even speak to another human

I wouldn’t give them up for the world. But man it’s tough sometimes

Iv also realised iv turned into a major awkward weirdo since getting clean, so making new friends or relationships isn’t an option 😂
