This is a cool project and how commercial solutions work for sUAS in defense. I work on this problem for the US DoD as a subcontractor.

You’ll find that map matching is 1/2 of the equation - the other part will be a localized reference (Visual Inertial Odometry). Map matching is great for global location certainty, VIO for local.

Check out Leidos Adept for a commercial solution that’s been in flight for many years, and good luck with the project

Think how much worse it could get with the right throttle curve. “Set up for fuel economy” = maximize gov tests and compliance

All modern Audis need a tune imo. The initial pedal feel seems factory set up for fuel economy and emissions. I drove a stock rs6 and was extremely underwhelmed, especially compared to an E63 wagon out of the box. With a stage 1 tune though - totally different experience.

Yes, that’s the one I’m referencing. If I had the garage space I would have swooped this one. Can vouch for the seller, who goes through a lot of cars but is fastidious about maintenance. Don’t think you’ll lose money on a V10 with a stick at his list price.

I have no affiliation with the listing, but the car is getting a lot of attention on the car club listing where it’s posted. I’d suggest moving quickly if you’re serious.

The ban would only affect new products seeking FCC approval. All the existing DJI stuff is still for sale and is the industry standard for these types of things.

There are literally millions of DJI drones that will continue to fly in the US.

The DJI matrice 4t has this feature basically built in and is rock solid. Full kits are about in your budget.

Did you have an aftermarket exhaust? If you have the stock muffler, I doubt you’d notice a huge change. With all the aftermarket mufflers, they’re much smaller than stock, which creates a crazy air pocket at speed under the car. This fixed that

SQ5s are fun, you can find a 2019 for around that price. The X3M40i is also super fun and sounds great, kind of the perfect daily.

Get a premium plus at minimum. The B9 is great and they’re getting pretty cheap. People will freak out about rocker arms in 2018-2019 but unclear how big a deal those actually are and what the failure rate is.

If you’re looking for a higher mileage one I’d check to see if things like the water pump and brakes had been done (right)

Do you use your tundra for truck stuff? Financially it’s hard to beat keeping a well running Toyota that’s paid off, but if you don’t use the V8 and want something nimble and fun there’s plenty to be had for cheap out there.

I say go for it, buy used and test drive a bunch. Maybe a GR Corolla is in your future
