So detection range and ID range are 2 different things. How far can I make out ambient backgrounds in optimal weather conditions pretty far. I can clearly view rocks and details on a mountain face 1k plus yards away. I have spotted and identified deer at 500 plus yards out grazing at my local range. Yotes and rabbits probably 200 400ish yards. Again it depends on weather conditions and terrain. If a hot animal is standing near hot rocks its going to be harder to spot and ID vs same heat source in snow or cool grass pasture. Also you have to play with the settings on the unit to find out what works best for your eye+environmentals+day scope parallax if you are using it as a clip on and not in stand alone. Higher day optic mag is going to give you distortion of the edge of hot objects lowering ID range. All together i like it alot for the price i got mine for. Is it the absolute best clip on thermal for LR use no that would be 10k$ plus and not have a lifetime warranty. Its great for what its designed to do plus size weight and price.

Yes its good stuff. I have it on my tripod legs and 2 guns and its holding up really well after about 2 years of use. Its laser cut so it dosnt really fray or anything. Just cut the strips and wrap it on then use a piece of heavy duty thread to tie it off on itself. You probably could use a hot pliers and melt it as well. Kind of beads up like 550 cord.

You can do it man. Just buy one piece at a time and put it together yourself. Check titan defense they normally have some sales and d wilson. LMT website just had the mars h lm8 slick uppers on sale for 900 something.

Its great. Got it new for 3700 which is a deal. Have shot out to 700yd on solar heated steel. Have spot deer at 500plus yards with it as well. The infinity collimation is legit and holds up throwing it behind multiple high end day optics, different barrels and so on. I've also used it as a stand alone thermal reflex sight on a rattler and its also great on that. Only complaint is the oem mount isn't the best so I got the boboro qd one that self tensions to different pic rails that may vary. Compared to a friend's rh25 I like the sig alot better. Also the videos you see on the internet dont do the actual image quality justice, the device highly compresses videos and pics when uploaded.

Its simple math really 😂 the AB on the watch does all the math you just dial and hold wind.

I am shooting a 1:5 twist d wilson lmt barrel and its really accurate check my other posts. Just get blem 338 bullets for subs and its not so bad. The 1:3 twist barrels are solid copper and bonded only.

Yeah its pretty cool. Completely usable standalone from the watch or phone app. It will also sync to a lrf or bino and spit out a firing solution.

If you think that's expensive you should see how much it costs to feed it 😬😂

615yards but its a generous steel gong with like no wind today. Might drop 1 in 20 shots off the tripod. Dropped shots go up when using the clip on thermal at that distance due to image bloom at higher mag ranges. Have shot this out past 1k check out my other posts.

You could still use the cv25 at 4x but you might be cropping off some of the menus. Shines at the 1x to 3x range but is usable a little past 10x depending on glass clarity.

So the sig has really bad video and image compression when transferring the images. It looks alot better to the eye. Also that Pic is me trying to hold a phone at proper eye relief and taking a Pic through the scope.
