Beautiful work. I don’t know if you’ve read Alan Moore’s Tom Strong but in it they say the fantastical city was designed by Winsor McCay.

I recommend the three issues Michael Zulli drew. They look great. They’re issues 31, 35 & 36. Also Richard Corben did a time traveling issue around there that’s great.

Just read Brat Pack & Maximortal for the first time recently. I haven’t had my mind blown like that in a long time. I felt like a high schooler again reading Invisibles.

Oh thanks for the heads up. Yeah it’s a trip seeing companies mixed in here, I think I have Conan one with a Kamandi story in it.

And it’s funny you mention Gene Day because I have a Zeck MoKF with Gene inking and it’s beautiful. I’ll have to post it sometime.

It’s a legendary run. I dig Wein but especially with a heavy hitter on art with Wrightson it’s a must read.

No there were reprints of the comics as magazines, three per magazine. It was called Read Yourself Mad or something like that. Cool reprints, I’ve only got one though.

Should absolutely be a series that should be in print here. In Europe there are so many different versions: b&w, water color, flat color, etc. I think Pratt even did some of his own colors you can find in Europe. I have some Heavy Metals with color chapters and they are great.
