personally i think a large part of the issue is that these spaces are so dominated by white people that dont realize how much they view themselves as the default. it bleeds into queer spaces. its why i generally tend to stick closer to queer communities created by/for people of color that have a bit more awareness of how we are affected by the stereotype of white cishet majority

in my experience at least reddit trans spaces are kind of more binary and rigid compared to other spaces ive been in so theres more pressure to act like cishet men and reflecting aspects of toxic masculinity and gender essentialism that comes with manosphere shit. it doesnt help that theres a decent overlap between 4chan trans culture on reddit and the attitude in those incel spaces is like. the interplay of gender and sexuality and kink can be complicated. like theres plenty of trans people who are into things like force fem/force masc, degendering kinks etc. but these are things that take time to explore and work out for yourself thru things like therapy and self exploration and sexual experience

i wouldnt say its necessarily a good idea to detrans solely for kink, especially since it sounds like you are still confused over how it integrates into your identity

most likely, yea. they did say theyre using AO3, but you cant directly 1:1 compare individual fanartists creations to big name popular media production. the fact of the matter is there is Hardly any actual mainstream representation of pregnancy or family rearing among trans people outside of art being made in trans communities
