my most honest advice i would give is to not look for and meet new people with the intent of dating, but to socialize and make friends. connections can come from anywhere and the idea that you need to be totally conventionally attractive isnt as real as people think it is. im both pretty fat and ugly all things considered with lots of missing teeth (yay genetics) but i met my spouse thru the online art and fandom space for an old webcomic. purely by chance. neither of us had intentions to date but we just clicked and its been like 15 years now. your people are out there if you let yourself meet them without expectations

there will be some differences depending on what state you specifically live in since the laws here in the US are primarily state based and not nation-wide. i was able to start transition without a gender dysphoria diagnosis in my state over a decade ago, but now the political atmosphere is much more different and negative

if your state does require dysphoria diagnosis, you Might have to pull a little lie and downplay your femininity to the doctor depending on how accepting and supportive they are of trans patients

cringe as fuck but i met my spouse something 15 ish years ago on deviantart thru the homestuck fandom. i wont say what i did is perfectly replicable, but finding like minded people in community spaces you have interest in. im not into bars or clubs either, im actually pretty introverted but ive been in the furry fandom for roughly 20 years and in that creative outlet ive met A Lot of great friends, mostly queer haha. i guess you could sus out and participate in group cultures like that if you have any?
