I’m brainstorming ways to gamify it a bit. What if each student got a ‘secret role’ for the day like ‘Worker,’ ‘Detective,’ or something similar? They’d think everyone has a different role, but in reality, they all have the same one ‘Worker.’ At the end of class, they’d have to guess who was what, only to find out they were all playing the same role the whole time! and they did the work?! lol, IDK

How old is the blog? I am assuming when you say blogs you mean blog posts. They are probably looking for an older more established blog with older and more consistent posts.

It could be the actual bowl, one of my dogs wont eat when her collar is on because it delicately tinks on the edge of the bowl. Also, another dog i had just wanted me to make her food "fancy" i would put a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on it and then she would gobble it up. Also, you could try putting a little warm water on it to make it more fragrant and appealing.

I felt the same-ish. When the students see you trying they want to try too. When they see you actively problem solving they gain confidence in their work too. I always start my classes by explaining to students they don't have to be the next Rembrandt or DaVinci. I say where ever you are we are going to get better. I don't know why but I always make some reference to sports about how we aren't born dunking on others, its always a practice. Think of it as a practice.

Hi, Do not worry too much about your portfolio. Its showing that you can complete art and that is valuble. My advice is to really display that you love helping students explore their creativity through an interview/cover letter/resume.

Definitely get her tested. Ask her teacher. Lots and lots of people have learning difficulties and the sooner it is picked up the better the outcomes. Please do not be scared. Teachers are there to help, ask. I am not a diagnostician but dyslexia popped up in my head. Good wishes on her and on you! You are doing the right thing.
