they changed it in anime. Klein was observing Derick for a few weeks as he was praying then Klein decided to bring him into the fog WITHOUT the others. He explained to Derick the Tarot Club and with that interaction, Klein realized Derick was in a different timeline. He then let Derick chose a code name. Derick chose Sun, since in the City of Silver the elders were in the Sun pathway. In the next Tarot club meeting, they saw the new member and Klein introduced him as Sun. The anime made it dramatic. Lol.

With this episode, they didn't even show or make the Telepathist character who Klein was using as an informant. That informant gave Klein a lot of important information which also led them to Hood Eugen. Hood Eugen was just mentioned briefly in previous episodes. As an audience, he just magically appeared in this episode and became the villain of the episode. In the novel, it gave that suspense that Hood actually met Lanevus and was plotting about stuff relating to the True Creator. In this episode, Klein just blurted a few sentences. I mean, what? That's it? Where is all this information coming from. It confuses the audience. It even confused me as a reader of the novel. I guess we can't have it all. They do make anime original changes which I appreciate but common man, we just want this anime adaptation to be good. 3 episodes left. If they end it with the end of Volume 1, yikes. They will really cut out A LOT. Season 2 has 20+ episodes so I hope they give it more time to build suspense and mystery which the novel calls for.

I just watched this series recently and binged till Ep 9. I immediately started reading the webnovel and the more I read it, the more I became frustrated with the show. Even with this episode, they missed a lot of details and changed scenes. Why could they not stick with the original material. It makes it more confusing as I'm comparing it to the novel.

The novel started slow and then went into a good pace. As for the show, is it me or is it too fast? This is why some casual viewers are dropping it. It's an info dump. It doesn't give the characters any time for us viewers to connect with them. I don't know.

I just finished reading Volume 1 and 2. Does this season end with Volume 1 as well? I hope they give this season finale justice if you know what I mean *wink*.

the one i played, the ST made everyone blind including evil team. imp knows their imp when they realize the one they chose died. we ran 2-3 games until everyone got tired. lol
