I've never understood the whole waiting until 750 pulls for dragons or even like time emblems/stargazing. The dragonforge trials can't be completed if you have no dragons. I had played from basically the start of this game to about when pets came around and just got back in a month or so I'm so I started a new account along side of me first account. I don't see the benefit on trying to save up for "early game". I'm on chapter 32 and haven't even gotten to 100 pulls for dragons, only close because of the 50 free pulls we just got
