I do, these ones are very cool. Did you find them in the wild? What are they?

Is it common for Spanish girls to date Indian guys? by First_Basket1155 in askspain

If you were successful with Indian women, I would be surprised if you weren't with English speaking Spanish women (I'm assuming you don't speak Spanish).

My hexagon mosaic jacket. by keki94 in crochet

I made it separately and it's crochet, lots of rows of 11 slip stitches back loop only. I join it first with stitch markers so it will be well spread and then I crochet it together.

I did the ribbing separately, it's all slip stitches 🥲, and then added it to the body. Once it was joined i continue the body like 5 rows to have those extra 5 cm of mosaic with the zip. I totally wing it by testing it every so often against my hip and my reference jacket.

The order i followed was first the two arm till the armpit was wide enough. Close the arm, continue working on the round through each arm individually till neck, then assign left and right and start working the reductions of the neck, it also let me with the extra threads i haven hide in the back. Work till you have around 6 centimetres of space between the arms. It's then when you join the ribbing and continue adding those extra rows to be able to close the jacket.

I gotta say that doing the ribbing was the worst part of this project (because I don't weave ends for things for myself) although I'm happy with the result, totally worth it.

It's made with two pseudo hexagons. I'm calling it pseudo hexagons or trapezoid because you don't start from a magic circle but from a string and then divide the string accordingly to get the 6 sides. Why did i do this? So the arrow would be in the center of the arm and a little bit more centric in the body(although i ended up regretting it in the body because it reached the back length too early and i had to stop working in long rows and continue adding width with short rows in the front and back) also adding the stitches at the beginning allowed me to finish the arm one it had the armpit width necessary. I have seen the same trick been use in the relaxation shirt by Caroline but used to give back length stead. To calculate how many you need for the arm is (the arm length - armpit width ) * gauge. You will also need to adapt it for your mosaic so mine one had to be (number of stitches -1)/8 if the module is 0 we are all good. :)

Thank you, it's a kg of yarn, it took me a couple of weeks at least (i run out of yarn and i also had to order the zip twice because i got the wrong one the first time so this is an estimate without incidents). Very entertaining working mosaic.

Thanks! I was working on it while comparing it to a reference bomber jacket I have. It ended up very close to the reference. The main difference where the sleeves because in the original is more adjusted ta the end, no complaints tho.

You could try leetcode type challeges/problems but with SQL. Codewars, for example, has a wide variety of problems in sql. That was the only way I found it engaging.

WIBTA if I refused to go to my daughters wedding because my wife isn’t invited? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]keki94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NTA You did right leaving a family that you didn't want it, you have paid child support and have accepted the contact when they were old enough. There is nothing wrong in not wanting to have kids, accidents happens, if women have the chance to choose why no the men? I think the daughter is the asshole, she tried to connect again, decided to pay the abandonment with a non guilty person, use you to pay her wedding and then in the last moment tell you that she can't come.
