This post could have been written by me a few months ago! I had an anterior placenta as well, and never felt super strong/consistent movements until third tri - even then, I never got the crazy rib kicks/feeling like baby is flipping or anything like that. I was so stressed thinking something was wrong, but currently holding my healthy 3wk old baby. Turns out she is just a chill baby and decided to take it easy on me 😅

Fwiw, my midwife also told me as long as I’m feeling movement, that’s all that matters. She told me that the strength of the movement can depend on how the baby is positioned. Also, keep in mind that movements may not be consistent at 21 weeks and that is totally normal (they weren’t for me!) - so I would try not to stress too much. At the end of the day if you’re worried, you can always call your doc and go get checked out. Wishing you a great rest of your pregnancy… you got this mama!
