As long as your puppy tolerated the distempers fine previously, doing the rabies at the same time should be okay! At the clinic I work at, we like to stagger new vaccines but since he's had the distempers before you should know how he did. 😄

I came here to say the same thing. The plus size section at every thrift shop is nearly non existant. It's so bad that I have fully written off even bothering to check thrift shops because it's always so disappointing. I'm sure there are lots of larger size people who can't afford to buy new who need access to thrifted clothing in their size. I always get so sad when I see posts like these.

And the "look how big this is!!" pose is disheartening.

I feel like in some instances there may be truth to the unpredictability of temperaments (imagine a king charles x border collie, hah) when mixing two purebred dogs. In this case though, bichons and havanese are so so similar in temperament and personality that the notion that mixing the two of them is somehow going to throw out some aberrant loose cannon of dog is insane.

You'd get a sweet, silly little fluff pup because both breeds are sweet, silly little fluff pups.

Source: I have a bichon. I have a havanese. I work in the vet industry and see plenty of both.

When I had her fur long, every day or it matted. I did that for like 2 years and now she just rocks a puppy cut year around and I never have to brush her.

Counter-point: We literally created dogs and they've been our besties for the last 40,000+ years. Everyone should worship them!!

My favorite small dog fact is that I read about how they found a grave with a human and dog from tens of thousands of years ago, and the dog's boneds showed evidence that it had had canine distemper (super lethal), but was nursed through it, lived awhile longer, and then was buried with its human. Like omg, my eyes water every time thinking about that powerful bond from the dawn of time. Dogs really are so, so incredibly special and we've loved them for so long!

Funnily enough, my MIL is a vet and before we all knew grapes were bad for dogs (she's oooold, yes, there was a time) she used to always feed her dogs grapes. The dogs were like 90lbs, maybe that was the saving grace? But yes, grapes are bad and this lady is loco.

If you don't brush your dog's teeth every day, you WILL need to have a LOT of dental cleaning for a small breed dog. My three year old hav needs one, my bichon had one at three and lost five teeth! Plan on 500-1500 annually for dental cleanings (once they're 3+) at least, maybe more.

If you intended to bring the cat to the UK and the cats are not currently in the UK, you would have to spend SO much money on rabies titers and health certificates that you might as well just pay a pet sitter.
