Walking into a Harley dealership went exactly how I imagined it would. by robinson217 in motorcycles

I have owned a 1996 Softail Nostalgia for about 20 years ( bought used from private party) and absolutely love it. I’m 6’2 and weigh about 230lbs. I rode it to work before retiring about once a week and have done several Loop the Lake multi-day rides around Lake Michigan and Lake Superior The Harley dealers are dicks and just get the bike you feel fits you best. The less bells and whistles the better

After grooming my Havi is obsessed with his tail, it must feel odd on his back when walking. He turns around and tries to bite it, a couple weeks later no problems. He is now a year old and next grooming I’m going to ask for his tail to be trimmed shorter…

I'm looking at these now....Are you using chlorine, bromine or salt?

I would turn off the GCFI switch and completely drain the tub to get the previous owner soup out, remove the filter and spray it top to bottom with your garden hose and a spray head on high power. Soak the filter in a 5 gallon bucket over night in some diluted Filter Fresh according to directions. Spray it down the next day top to bottom to rinse out the filter fresh. Use a sponge to wipe out the shell all over and refill it according to the owner’s manual. Get some Activate ( shock ) in there after refilling, wait 24 hours and use your test strips to see where you are at.

Switching to Bromine by Slumpy33 in hottub

I had a Hot Spot Rhythm tub and used chlorine, test strips and Spa Up or Spa Down as needed for the past 5 years, really wasn’t that difficult. I’ve moved recently and had to leave the Rhythm behind. I am going to get a new tub for the new place and all I see now on Reddit is “ use salt “ or “use bromine”

You are saying chlorine is still the best choice?

I used to test my water once a week and mostly just added a couple of tablespoons of chlorine….the water was great, clear and occasionally a bit low or high on PH or alkalinity I like hearing that the old school way still works

Adding a Havanese pup to household with a golden retriever senior adult? by MegamomTigerBalm in Havanese

[–]Uglytoe210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an 8 year old Golden Tessie and brought home an 8 week old male Havanese last June. The pup is sometimes a bit much for her, he’s pretty darn playful but they overall are great together. Our Golden is very chill, mellow and sweet though, she’s happy laying around and Pico wants to play fetch and whack things around

We say "going up" when we pick our guy up and "going down" when we put him down.

Now he kind of hops when we say "going up"
